I and my wife had our I-485 interview yesterday and got the approval and case updated to ‘new card is being produced’ today!

Interview Experience Below:
The officer told us the reason we were called for an interview is because I and my wife had been married for less than 2 years as at when the 485 was filed.
The officer also said that because we have a child now, he has all the proof he needs. He updated our 485 form with our child’s details, confirmed some details on the 485 and that was it.
At the end, he mentioned that the baby is enough proof but if we still have more proof, we can provide it. We gave him our home deed that has both our names, taxes filed together and our car insurance. We had more proofs to give but he declined, that he has enough.
Overall, it was a smooth experience.

hi everyone! I received an email from uscis that we have taken an action on my case. I logged into my account but there is no updates, the status is still same. This email was sent on Monday and it’s Thursday today, any idea what could have happened? did they change it back to previous status? Thanks.
H1B Visa Stamp Travel Interview
Hello,
I got drafted for the H1B visa while on STEM OPT. I am currently on the US working. Once the H1B petition is approved I am planning on traveling home (Germany) to get a new visa stamp in my passport. The current wait time for an interview is 25 days.
Can I fill out the application for DS-160 online while in the US and travel home once I receive an interview date? Or do I have to be in my home country while submitting the interview application?
This process will take a moment and I am trying to be available for work as long as possible.
