free for pending i485

I am in the same situation mine has been since 2021 and my EAD has expired too I renewed it and they haven't approved I was out of a drivers license and I am not working now I got back a drivers license and I'm doing uber but that's all I can do I cannot get a job because I don't have a EAD anymore and everyone is saying g it has expired I already did interview and all of that they recently send me another RFE I retained a lawyer and she reached out to them and ask them why was the case taking so long and they send the rfe asking g for my previous divorce decree that they already have based on my interview the officer gave us a hard time he's of ethnic group as me but he was very persistent wanting us to tell lies on our selves pressing g us to say stuff that wasn't so. so I think it's depends on the officer that has your case and the vendetta they have for others I wish you the best and all I can say is pray I have no tears left and I just decide to stop crying and trust God because all of us have someone to answer to in the end we may feel mighty and powerful but God is the author and the finisher I know how you feel because many days and nights I couldn't sleep I've developed depression but I have learn to trust God more and that's what's keeping me. I have been hungry I have had days when we couldn't pay bills we are having them now I have a company I had to dissolve because I'm currently out of status and cannot do anything to even source funding loans etc but I tell you my God is not a one sided God that much I know

@alexis scott , check the approval letter that was sent to you when the EAD was approved. It is stated in there that you have another extension of 510 Days if your application is not fully done. Show your Employer the letter. You can also use it to extend your Driver's license for another 510 Days. Renewal of EAD is free if your other application is still pending. You just have to file 90 Days before the EAD expires, according to the requirements. Check the approval notice and read through. I hope that helps.

mine was filed in 2021 and the extension was for those who filed in 2022 or 2023 and before i think @Sun Shine

@alexis scott Oh! I See. I had to the 510 Days extension. Before they renewed in January for 5 years.

did you send it to the field center or the national benefit center @Sun Shine

it was free for me yes I'm Jamaican because you paid for it in the initial application you o ly have to submit the receipt for the i130 and i485 as proof of payment
