Motion to terminate Removal. Prosecutorial Discretion
Hello Community! I would like to have some advice from people who have been in a similar situation. My I 130 is approved, but I have a removal order issued in 2007. We filed Prosecutorial Discretion in February 2024, the ICE agreed to PD and not oppose motion to reopen. Now this motion will be going directly to the Immigration Court. How long realistically is it going to take for judge to decide and hopefully to terminate and dismiss the case so I can file I 485? Any thoughts ? I would really appreciate your input. Thank you.
RFE for I-130
Any Nigerian (anyone) received RFE for previous marriage certificate?
I have a customary court divorce decree from Nigeria. USCIS is asking for previous marriage certificate on my form I-130.
Customary court generally (In Nigeria) do not issue marriage certificate which USCIS recognizes in the reciprocity schedule.
Lawyer says he would draft an affidavit, show pictures of the previous traditional marriage and quote the reciprocity schedule on USCIS website.
Any experience or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Finally Green!!! Alhamdulillah!!!
I attended my interview on May 7th, and it went very smoothly. The interviewer was very kind to both me and my attorney. The interview lasted about an hour and a half and consisted mostly of yes and no questions. She asked about my job and the addresses I have lived at since submitting my application. After the interview, she mentioned that she might need me to resend my medical examination because a vaccination was missing due to an update on the new form. That same day, I got the update, went back to the civil surgeon, got the polio vaccination, and they updated my medical exam form. I sent the updated form last Friday, and it was received on Monday. By Tuesday, the update that RFE was received was processed, and today I received my approval!
Work permit card and green card
I have a quick question. I got my work permit approved first and a week and a half later I also got my I-485 (green card) and I-30 approved. Monday I received a notification that my work permit card was produced. Do you guys think I will receive the Green card instead or the work permit card first and then the Green card? They both were approved within a short period of time so I was just wondering if someone went trough a similar situation?
