Guyana interview š¬š¾
Hey Guys! This post is for anyone doing consulate processing at the Georgetown embassy in Guyana. I just wanted to provide an update for those who may be wondering how long it takes to receive the interview letter and appointment at the embassy in Guyana after getting DQ status from NVC.
June 11th, 2025: NVC DQ status.
June 23rd, 2025: Received appointment email from the NVC.
August 18th, 2025: appointment at the U.S embassy in Georgetown.
It took about 11 calendar days to receive the appointment email and about 56 days from the date of receiving the email to the actual interview. I hope this gives hope and a sense of how long things take at the Guyana embassy.
non local field office
my PD is 01/05/2023 and i am seeing people with PDs after mine getting approved lately. i know it doesnāt go according to date but just being super hopeful its my turn soon. my case was was transferred to non-local field office (portland maine) on june 10th and last reviewed June 13th. after how long of moving to field office does case get approved?
Need recommendations
Iām #seeking advice on obtaining advance parole documents for urgent travel to India due to a medical emergency. I had my green card interview on April 7, 2025, but haven't received my card yet. Can I apply for advance parole while my green card application is pending? What's the processing time, and what's the best approach to take in this situation?

PRIMA FICIA
Good evening family please am sad today so I submitted my fafsa and I sent my documents to the school for my fall semester but my prima ficia will expire next week so the school said they sent it for verification and it was verified but my case is still pending so I donāt qualify for financial aid this afternoon I called my lawyer and she said I have a new prima ficia determination letter now and that will expire December do you guys think when I submit it to the school again with my work permit and social security I will qualify due aid .
Note: My first documents that I submitted was
I 360 form which is still pending
I 485 form which is also pending
my ead card and social security number
my Prima ficia letter that will expire next week
please do you think since I have gotten a new prima ficia letter I will qualify for the aid cause the office said I should submit it with my social security number and my ead card .
please help a sister out am so stressed out please

š£ URGENT ā Second RFE from USCIS šØ
Hey everyone, I really need help or insight from anyone whoās been through this.
I received a second Request for Evidence (RFE) from USCIS regarding my petition.
The first RFE (in February) asked for proof of:
ā¢ A good faith marriage
ā¢ Battery or extreme cruelty
ā¢ Shared residence
I sent everything I had, including a 5-page personal statement explaining why I didnāt have joint documents or shared accounts. I also provided all photos, messages, and supporting documents I could gather.
But now, theyāve sent another RFE asking for the exact same three things again.
š Iām confused and anxious.
I donāt know what more they want from me, and Iāve truly done my best.
Is this normal? Has anyone been through this?
Does anyone know what else I can submit to satisfy these 3 areas?
Any advice, experience, or encouragement would mean a lot right now. Thank you so much. š

I sent my case in march 31, and i have seen that thier is a peak of how many cases were summited in march 2024 cause of the change of cost

I live in Greenwich CT, but my case has been send to NYC FO, confirmed today with EMMA, and she confirmed that this is non-local office for me.

API Update for I-485: May 31

API Update for I-485: Jun 23 ( confirmed that this is when it appeared on NYC FO )
question: Have you had any experience with NYC FO? It seams problematic, considering number of immigrants in NYC. I am disappointed.
