Case sent to a non-local NYC FO, non-local, but close to me. Any exp. woth NYC FO?

I live in Greenwich CT, but my case has been send to NYC FO, confirmed today with EMMA, and she confirmed that this is non-local office for me. it’s suspiciously close to me, geographically vise 🫣 Have a few API updates in the recent month, here is a short timeline: RD: Jan 16 2025 Biometrics: 3 Feb 2025 EAD: Approved May 22 API Update for I-485: May 31 API Update for I-485: Jun 13 API Update for I-485: Jun 17 API Update for I-485: Jun 23 ( confirmed that this is when it appeared on NYC FO ) question: Have you had any experience with NYC FO? It seams problematic, considering number of immigrants in NYC. I am disappointed. ROW, EB1-A

We have taken an action to your case

I received an email from USCIS saying "We have taken an action to your case" but when I checked online, there's no changes at all. My status is still saying "Case is received and receipt notice was sent". Some people saying that when they get that email, they get approved few days after but it's been 2 weeks and no changes at all. Anyone have the same experience?
