I-751 What logic makes to prioritise some cases over others?
I have been happily married to my husband for almost 6 years and it will be 3 years in August since I applied for removal of condition. There are personal reasons why I don’t apply for N400. But trying to understand why it is taking so long for some compared to others? Never been Illegal, the case is clean. Provided bunch of evidences. First green card approved within 5.5 months.
Just so much devastating. Is there anyone who is waiting for almost 40-48 months? what’s your next action?

@Zp Gr You’re already a permanent resident. Filing I-751 extends your permanent residency. You can work, travel and live in the U.S. freely. From the aforementioned, can you see why I-751s aren’t prioritized?

some other people’s i751 cases are approved within 17 months of application. mine has been 35. with this I am trying to figure out what I missed to make my case to stand out. FYI, I applied with an attorney as well who helped me file my first case which got approved within 5.5 months @Rocco Forté

@Zp Gr I-751s take between two to three years for most cases. They take the back burner because there’s is no inhibition to the applicant while the case is pending. They focus more on fresh greencard applications and other immigration petitions that are somewhat time bound.
