Pending EB3 I485 for 30months, congress office told to wait for another 60 days till contact them again, should I file WOM now or after 60 days contact congress office again?
Hi, I just joined this forum. My I-485 was received by USCIS in Jan 2024. congress office helped in Feb 2026. I received RFE medical in March 2026, I submitted medical exam, USCIS received it on March 30, 2026. I contacted congress office again yesterday, they replied that due to current vetting and lack of staff, USCIS need more time to adjudicate my case, and wait for another 60 days if no progress,contact them again. In this case, do I stand a solid ground if file WOM now? Or should I wait another 60 days then contact congress again? I also filled ths homeland security OIS form, but that was even slower than congress office from previous experience.

from the “USCIS get Inquiry Date”, it says “The earliest you can submit questions is October 23, 2027. Please do not contact us before this date.”🫠

i had aimilar situation. I took a screenshot of Congressman’s helper’s response and messaged them on requested date. At first they asked to wait. but then I attached the screenshot. It took them a week or so send me an email with “The Officer was assigned to your case” next day after that emal I received the approval notification.

also one more thing: WOM was affective back then, i don’t know about right now. The is anlaqyer name Jim Hacking. He helped my friedn with WOM. What would I do is, wait for his youtube live and ask a free question.

If he says, Yes do the WOM it means bug chance % your WOM will work.
