I485
I am completing Form I-485 and have two Forms I-94 due to my initial entry to the United States and a subsequent issue after my asylum approval. Part 1, Question 12 of the form asks for the most recent I-94 information. However, I’ve found conflicting information online; some suggest using the initial I-94, while others recommend using the most recent one issued post-asylum approval. Which I-94 record number should I use?
I’m tired is this normal
I thought would have had the interview by this time. I haven’t received a single update since I submitted on August 20 2025. I’m applying for my spouse that lives in Algeria, and I’m an American Citizen. I honestly don’t know if I need a lawyer at this point to submit an expedited request, or will this affect my application? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all
I hold an M.D degree, masters in healthcare administration and currently enrolled in a PhD program, I work as a research coordinator and deal with a lot of patients in healthcare/research environment, working while on F1 visa.
however, i have no publications yet, never had the time to get involved in publishing, i applied for NIW EB2, and after 100 days i paid for the premium processing, do i have a chance of getting approved?
Congressman Enquiry
Hi everyone,
My I-751 (application to remove condition) has been pending since November 2023 with no updates at all. Is it a good idea or safe to contact my congressman to make enquiry about my case? And for those who contacted their congressman, did USCIS respond or move your case afterward? please help me with any insight or ideas on what to do. Thanks
NO UPDATE AT ALL SINCE
it’s officially been One Year and 4 days since I had my interview and since then the only update mad on my case for i130 being approved and EAD. i485 is still completely stuck at the same spot as last year. Field Office Newark NJ

Case Moved to Los Angeles FO
Hi everyone,
According to Emma, my case has been transferred to the Los Angeles Field Office (even though I’m not resident of the state). I’ve had 3 silent updates on my case so far, and I received the third early this morning when my case was transferred.
I wanted to ask if anyone here has experience with the Los Angeles FO, especially for employment-based EB2-NIW cases. Also, I asked Emma whether my interview was waived or not, and she said it was waived and waiting for the FO to complete review and notify me about the decision. I’m from the 39 partially banned country.
Thanks in advance!
correspondence was received and uscis is reviewing it
what does this really mean . I never received any RFE of any sort and this is the update I see after almost 4 years.
please advice.
Thank you fam.

SIJS Deferred Action and EAD Limbo (PD October 2025)
Hey guys, my attorney said that people who filed/who's PD is before May 10 2026 will receive deferred action soon (might take months)
So my question is, did other attorneys (you all) say the same thing about this? Have any of you whos PD is after June 2025 receive Deferred Action letter?
I'm really stressful think whether I'd receive DA and EAD or not.

after interview
I went in for an interview yesterday; it lasted approximately 35 to 40 minutes. The officer didn't explicitly state that I was approved, nor did they say anything else. However, after we left, my lawyer told me, "You've been approved; there are no issues." I haven't received any approval notice or similar communication today. At the end of the interview, I was given this document. If you have a same experience, please let me know (white paper)
Exhausted 2022
I’m gonna be real, with everything currently going on in this political climate, i get more & more exhausted each day. i have a strong sense that we will all be sitting here waiting for much much longer than the uscis website is indicating. not sure if it’s just me, but i’ve been losing sleep racking my brain thinking of how life would look outside the US if this all goes down…all this time, money, mental strain that comes with this process is getting to me
