Stuck in 2021 Filers, Any Recent Updates For You Fam?
It’s been over 4 years of waiting. I applied back in August 2021 and still haven’t had any updates. The only thing I’ve gotten were the 7 prima facies, and my 485 was just transferred to another office in May 2025. At this point I’m really down, not in any holiday spirit at all. I’m just depressed and don’t know what’s going to happen with my life. Has anyone from the 2021 filings received any recent updates, approvals, or denials? Thank you.

I filed an I-130 petition for my foreign spouse in 2022. I just received a notice in November 2025 saying that an interview has been scheduled for me as the petitioner. I thought the I-130 is usually approved first and then sent to the NVC for my spouse abroad. Is it normal for USCIS to interview the petitioner directly? I also read online that this might speed up the process so that my spouse may not have to go through a long wait before coming to the U.S. Is that true?

Hello! Query, does anyone know where they are working these days? There are April approvals and some movements from May, June, July and August were seen. It's been 103 days since my i485 interview was completed and I still haven't received a decision. My field office is in Indianapolis. Has anyone from the Indianapolis field office been approved recently? I've made a couple of service requests and both times it said my case requires additional review. I also reached out to my congressman for help, but unfortunately, that didn't work out.
