i-751 case status minor update
Last year in 2025 July they changed for every the statuses saying “ Case is still being proven by USCIS”, and that was discussed everywhere.
but now I see they changed mine to “USCIS is currently processing the case” does that mean they started actually reviewing it? or something else? did anyone’s status also switch?
Esta espera es tan injusta
En mi vida quiero volver a pasar un proceso como éste. y lo que faltaaaaaaaaa, es una incertidumbre demasiado grande estando lejos de su familia 😪😔sin saber ni el dia ni la hora.

this is my advice to everyone don’t let these lawyers intimidate you take matters into your hand do whatever you can to reach out to A senator or a congressman in your area to start reaching out to USCIS keep everything on record and make notes when next Follow Up should be
That’s the only way that we got things moving. The file was thrown aside for sure, and there was no timestamp movement as soon as we did Reach out back in January to a congressman. It moved first time second time another time stamp up in April May again and then lastly Called the Congressman’s office multiple times and reached out by mail and they were able to get a response on my case will be Finalized and a decision will be made in 30 days
This was on 1 July 6 of July the case got accepted

Traveling with Domestically Flight
Hi all, I have a family matter to do in California on the end of the month but just as many people here I am waiting for my I485 approval. My PD is current and they received my RFE for medicals 26 days ago. I was really hoping to get my gc approved before the trip just so I could have peace of mind but I am starting to think it won’t happen like that.
I’d like to hear anyone that travelled recently how was it. I have real ID drivers license
Many people are saying it’s risky, I did fly from NC to MA in December and it went well but we know a lot has changed since December
My flight would be from NC to CA with 1 stop somewhere.
Any thoughts or suggestions? I appreciate!
Found a tool that shows you real cases getting approved every day. It genuinely helped the wait. MyCasesHub
The worst part of waiting on USCIS is the silence. You have no idea if approvals are even happening or if everyone in your boat is just as stuck as you. Someone pointed me to MyCasesHub and there is a section called Today's Lucky Ones that changed how I felt about the wait.
It shows actual cases that got approved on a given day, the real receipt number, the form type, and when they were filed. You can pick any day from the past week, filter to your own form type and service center, and just see people like you getting approved in real time. When I saw I-485 cases at my service center clearing, filed around the same time as mine, it was the first time in months I felt like I was actually in a moving line and not a black hole.
There is a Denied and an RFE view too if you want the full picture instead of just the good news.
It is free and you do not even need an account to look:

VAWA Applicant Stopped from Boarding at Doha Airport
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to get some guidance or hear from anyone who has experienced something similar.
I originally came to the U.S. on an F-1 student visa. Unfortunately, my university lost its accreditation, which caused me to fall out of status. I remained out of status for over two years before marrying a U.S. citizen. After that, I filed a VAWA-based immigration case with the help of my attorney and was approved for a combo card (Employment Authorization and Advance Parole), which is currently valid until 2029.
Last year, I traveled to India to take care of my parents and returned without any issues using the same travel document.
However, during my most recent trip, I was stopped at Doha Airport because the airline received a “No Board” message and I was not allowed to board my flight to the United States. I was not given any clear explanation for why this happened.
I have no criminal record, I have been filing and paying my taxes, and as far as I know, nothing has changed with my case. Unfortunately, my attorney has been unresponsive, so I’m trying to understand what may have happened and what steps I should take next.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation or knows what could trigger a “No Board” message? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Approved!! 🎉
Finally got my approval today. PD 28 April 2023. The case was transferred from NBC to Columbus, OH, sometime in May. I received an RFE for medicals on May 20. Sent the package on June 8th. Never got an update that the RFR was received, but got approval today!

post interview decision
it has been 4.5 months after i751 interview. i reached out to congressman’s office and this was the response “Thank you for contacting USCIS concerning the above-referenced application. Below is a summary of what we have found.
Your case is awaiting review. You do not need to do anything at this time. When we make a decision or take further action on your case, we will mail a notice to you or your representative at the address you gave us.”… 😩😩😩
CITIZENSHIP
hello good afternoon everyone!
I am married and I had a conditional green card. it’s expired I applied for remove condition January 2025. I did not hear anything back yet and I applied for my citizenship on february 2026. around April my husband’s mom got so sick she might die any time to be honest. he got so upset and left home to take care of his mom he is the only kid around and dad is also kind of sick. he talked about divorcing ( I feel like he said regarding to lots of issues going on he couldn’t carry marriage on top ) but we did not divorce. we still have home together I asked if he really wants to divorce after things but calmed down. he said no he is just in very hard position and time he said he is waiting on top of his mother so she wouldn’t die. I know she is in very bad situation if this happened to me I would also leave home and go take care my mom. I understand the situation. we are 5 years married. but I did not see my husband for a month. again, he does not want to divorce at all he says he loves me he needs time to make sure his mom is good to leave alone. my question is what would happen if he couldn’t come to interview or we move the date? or would uscis invite both of us for my citizenship or just me? ( we did not get in interview for my contiditonal green card ) we are married 5 years and 4 months. yes it was a real marriage we lived 5 years together we do have story and whitnesses.
green card approval
Hi, I was detained by Ice for 74 days. It was a long journey and had to restart my process a 42B/ Vawa since my lawyer included that as well. I got granted a special rule cancellation of removal which grants you a green card. I got released and have been waiting for 2 months now. Is anyone familiar with this process? how long will it take for my green card to arrive ?
