The worst part of waiting on USCIS is the silence. You have no idea if approvals are even happening or if everyone in your boat is just as stuck as you. Someone pointed me to MyCasesHub and there is a section called Today's Lucky Ones that changed how I felt about the wait.
It shows actual cases that got approved on a given day, the real receipt number, the form type, and when they were filed. You can pick any day from the past week, filter to your own form type and service center, and just see people like you getting approved in real time. When I saw I-485 cases at my service center clearing, filed around the same time as mine, it was the first time in months I felt like I was actually in a moving line and not a black hole.
