JUST GOT AN RFE FOR OUR I-485 (EB1)

Hi everyone! me and my husband have been on a long journey trying to get our GC through his job. We got 765 approved and 140 approved earlier this year and we are just missing AoS 485. #i-485 #rfe We just found out USCIS sent an RFE. What could it be? i am suspecting it could be medicals. Our medicals are from Feb 2021 and we submitted our case in July 2021 what do you guys think?

Good evening family, My i-130 just got approved on 24th May. PD oct 2021 Baltimore filler. Concurrent filled with i-485. Also RFE received today for medical since I didn’t send at the time of filling. Interestingly RFE came from Kendall FL, Is my i-485 getting approved soon after sending medical or still chances for interviews? Is it still a long run? Please enlighten me with your experience. i485 rfe response

I submitted my RFE for I485 on March 28 and didn’t receive any update for more than 40 days. Finally on May 8, the date next to green tick changed and the same day the status was changed from RFE received to Actively review. I thought I will get the approval next day like most of them but nothing. Again yesterday (May 17), actively review date changed but nothing yet. Has anyone experienced the same? #Atlanta #rfe

Regarding EB1 RFE

Received a “Request For Initial and Additional Evidence” for my EB1- B, Outstanding Researcher, I-140 at NSC. My employer’s Immigration team says USCIS only asked for “corporate information” and it’s easy for them to reply back . They don’t need anything from me right now. They didn’t share the actual notice with me. Should I be worried/relieved that it’s not anything else ? Should I expect an “approval” , once the RFE response is accepted ? #EB1 #RFE

Can we submit affidavits letter along with "INTENT TO MARRY WAS BONA FIDE" in RFE?

Did not receive RFE and online status did not indicate RFE was sent

I reached out to the congressman who inquired on my case, and USCIS responded saying that an RFE was issued on March 27th. I never received this RFE and they never updated my case status to show that an RFE was issued. I would have been waiting in vain if I didn’t reach out to the congressman. I have created a service request to let them know I didn’t receive this RFE and I have sent them a letter. my question is how long does one have to respond to RFE? it has been more than 30 days since they said they sent the #RFE

Last week, he got approved in the i-485 and I received a RFE requesting for evidence that we are married. Hello, I have my case status stuck at 'Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction' dated April 20, 2022. --- My case was transferred to Newark FO and I am EB3. April 20, 2022 Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction April 19, 2022 Your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, was transferred to another office for processing. March 16, 2022 The fingerprints relating to your Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, were taken. February 7, 2022 We received your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. --- And in July 2022, I received RFE non-medical. In January 2023, I got through Emma and put a request in for a status check and the response said, 'We are still reviewing your case. We will mail you a notice when we make a decision.' Is my timeline normal? Am I being impatient? It's been a rough 2022 and 2023 and I need some hope..I got audited for i-140 and received a RFE for i-485.. Hello all. I have been waiting over a year after my non-medical rfe regarding my travel history dating back to 2005. I took the fingerprints April 2022 and received RFE in July 2022. Does it usually take over a year to get a decision: interview or approval? Everyone around me has been approved and I'm the only one who is still waiting to hear something from USCIS. My case was transferred to NJ FO from NBC and then I received RFE from NJ FO. Hello all. Hope you all have been progressing well in our GC journey. I have got my fingerprints taken March 2022 and got my case transferred from NBC to NJ FO in April 2022. Then I received RFE on my past travel history, no medical. I haven't heard back on my RFE status ever since but I managed to break through Emma and get an email response back from USCIS stating that my case is still under review. Does RFE on non medical documents usually take up more time to process? I would love to know if anyone has had the similar experience.. Wish you all a speedy approval! #I-485 #gc #rfe

485 case was transferred right after RFE

Hi, I received 485 RFE on 4/19 (Nebraska, but received RFE from the Alaska field office). And I got a notice that my application was transferred to the National Benefits Center on 4/20. (1 day later?!) I tried to call USCIS to clarify my situation but couldn't get to the agents (couldn't get over the AI agent). Should I respond to the Alaska field office, or need to wait for another response from NBC? #485 #RFE

Hi All, I have received an rfe for my 140 petition. The RFE is about all 3 prongs. The officer is not convinced on all three prongs. I have a US PhD in Biology, three papers, 45 citations and currently working as a postdoc at a US national lab on cancer biology. I do not have any underlying status at this moment other then pending AoS. How likely it is to get an approval after RFE response? Also, what other options I have if it gets denied? Married filling jointly tax return for I-864

Hi, I'm sponsoring my spouse who is the principal immigrant in the form I864 in NVC. she is not in the US and she doesn’t and didn’t have any income. However, I got ITIN for her and include her in my taxes( Married filing jointly) but all of the income stated in the tax return is coming from me. Medical RFE- No update on Timeline

Hello everyone, My physician forgot to date my I-693 so I had to resubmit it. After consulting the medical office and my lawyer, they both agreed that it is safe to fill out the form with the original date rather than re-doing the process. The form was updated after my initial visit so we used the updated form. The tracking indicates that it has been delivered to USCIS on Feb 2nd. I have not seen my case time line stating anything about the request of RFE or receiving RFE. I understand that it may take 90 days for them to process RFE but I am concerned. I would appreciate if you could share your experience/thoughts. #RFE
