hi, fO Baltimore. I submitted my medical RFE 84 days ago and still nothing. I've seen people be all over the board with timeliness. some people have been waiting over 100 days. others get approved the same day their RFE is received. very frustrating. where us your FO?

@S A Thank you for your reply😊 I am still trying to understand the terms and systems so please forgive me if my answer is not clear. My lawyer submitted the forms online. All of the letters came from NBC, but my closest FO is Queens, NY. I was able to chat with an associate on USCIS website. The only information I was able to obtain was that they are not obligated to confirm if RFE has been received. So I was not sure that not having updates about RFE is normal. I have read many threads here, on Reddit and Quora as well. I know that being stressed over the long wait is not worth it. But I cannot help being concerned about this😔 I’ve been spending my day offs just researching other applicants’ situations.

@Nikka Chuteng I am the same way, it is very stressful. some days more than others for sure but we just have to try and stay positive. that is odd they didn't update that they received your RFE, did you check through the USCIS website itself? also the chat system isn't very reliable unfortunately, they have told people different information all the time that ends up not being true. I have even tried to call and nothing. all we can do is wait I suppose.

@S A I check USCIS itself and 2 tracker apps several times a day😅 It indicates that there is nothing outstanding since they have started actively reviewing the case. I received the RFE request on a couple days after they started reviewing the case. I decided to have a lawyer for my case because I was out of status for a while and also my previous marriage with a USC did not end well- I didn’t filed for GC with him. Though I don’t know having a lawyer made any difference at this point. I really hope that this waiting period will be over soon so that I can finally enjoy living my life with my loving husband🥺

I sent it on the 16th of February. Until today I didn't have an answer. My lawyer said it has to wait. this is so bad . Like me, I just want know if they received.

@Fab Men Yes, indeed. But getting the replies and knowing that there are other applicants going through the same issue makes me feel slightly better. Grateful to have support from the community.

I apologize for the delayed response. it has been 63 business days since it was received. no update…

I was able to submit a service request through a live agent just now. the agent said that we are allowed to do so after 60 days. However, he did not specify if it is 60 business days or just 60 days. The agent who helped previously told me to wait 90 days. #RFE #servicerequest
