Biometrics
I'm I the only one waiting on Biometrics. PD Dec. 2020 Queens NY. I'm seeing persons with 2021 PD and they had Biometrics already some even received their EAD card. So covid cannot be an excuse anymore. I expediting 11 days ago and still waiting for a response. I'm just feeling so frustrated and hopeless 😕😞.
Recent issued EAD’s I-765 experation date duration.
Hi family. Recently USCIS released a new policy which would increase EAD experation date. Originally it used to be 1 year, now they would issue ead’s expiring in 2 years which should help eliminating backlog avoiding EAD reneawl paperwork from coming.
Has anyone recently got their EAD approved and on hands already? Is this new rule in effect already? How long is you card good for?
thanks.
i-765 expedite before I-485 ready to be scheduled for an interview (marriage based AOS)
Hey everyone,
I recently expedited my i-765 after completing biometrics. However, my I-485 never changed to “ready to be scheduled for an interview”. I’ve noticed this usually occurs first before you are approved for your EAD whether you are expediting or through regular processing. It seems my I-485 may be stuck at “fingerprints have been applied”. I’m curious if there are people out ther whom had their i-765 EADs before i-485 was ready to be scheduled?
thanks!!

USCIS should hire all of us to help process the cases
I don’t know about you all, but if it helps process cases faster for everyone, I would be happy to work part-time for USCIS to help with case processing.
The amount of delays that we go through is inhumane. It’s almost like torture. 🇺🇸 is extremely efficient at some things (like the vaccines) but grotesquely inefficient at immigration.
Good luck to all and hope you all get your well deserved cases process soon. ❤️
