you can apply side by side for eb3 unskilled. Along with this , you need to maintain your status until you get EAD and start work. About timeframe, LC will take minimum 6 months to 12 months depends on county categories and PD. After that your company will file l140, EAD plus GC. For details you need to research by yourself

thanks suman for your time. i have researched by myself but confused because of Coronavirus delays. i have seen people getting GC in 17 month but now its taking more than 3 years. so is it right time offices are opening or should i wait more. And as a student applying for unskilled category is okay? i am from Pakistan!

it’s the perfect time. you have you two years left of school and OPT. you’ll definitely have your greencard by then.

You don’t let an eb3 opportunity pass by. Go for it. Just make sure the company is legit etc

should i go with my employer or through BDV solution?

What is bdv solution? If it’s a third party agency, steer away. If you ever get an interview, this could get you in serious trouble as they will investigate. Even if you didn’t do anythinf wrong. Follow the natural way, get a sponsorship from your employer. All the best!!

please look at this link. it is a famous third party in eb3 solution. they give you options to select for unskilled position. once you select they have their legal team that will guide you through with company.

I would get a sponsor and hire a lawyer. Anything different than this could get you into trouble. When companies have multiple sponsorships, the DOL starts doing audits in the perm process, uscis start targeting them for rfes during the i140… If you have a direct employer, I say go with them. It’s how they expect you to do. The choice is yours! Good luck!
