hello. I think it is very unclear whether or not you can do it. I have not had bio yet and tried to do expedite and an agent told me I can’t until I get bio done. however , I have read that there are people that successfully requested an expedite and they were not even asked for evidence. in summary; I think it really just depends on the agent helping you… I feel abandoned in this process and it’s frustrating to see that not the same rules are applied to everyone. however, I would recommend getting a letter from your grandmas doctor and try to use it for medical emergency. I feel you. my grandad is also sick and I wish I could be visiting him instead of losing my time waiting here without being able to work. best of luck and hope your grandma gets better

I expedited without bio and they scheduled my bio appointment the very next day. I had tried prior to that and the rep told me I couldn’t expedite without bio so it definitely depends on who you get. When I expedited, I was not asked about bio and they have not requested any documents. I haven’t received any further info on my request. The request hasn’t been approved or denied yet. I also don’t know if it’s just a coincidence but I tired it and it worked.

I think you’re right, it depends on who you get! when did you request to expedite? since you said you haven’t received anything yet! at least they scheduled your biometrics appointment quick!

I requested may 28th, bio scheduled may 29th. I did my bio on June 24 so I’m waiting for updates now. I never received any emails about the request but when I checked on the uscis website it said my request was completed on June 15 🤷🏾‍♀️, not sure what that even means. A day after my bio I received an email that they took action on my account but nothing had changed. Hopefully you get your appt soon!

@ker when did you apply to expedite after your PD? my PD 04/1/21 and still waiting for bio and AP… ı have to be in my country in Sept and ı am afraid that ı can’t catch it… ıs it true to get AP before than Bio?

I waited a really long time and I think that’s why I was scheduled so quickly. I applied September 2020. I have spoken to individuals who expedited their ap’s without bio and it was still denied because they didn’t have bio. There’s still a really long wait and a lot of us who applied last year are just now seeing any type of movement. I know it’s hard to excercise patience but just know the long wait times are perfectly normal unfortunately. Hoping you guys get scheduled soon. All the best!

I tried doing this in order to trigger BIO. The expedite request was denied without asking for any evidence and no biometric appointment was scheduled. 😭

guys ı am wondering about Lawfully’s statistic in this app. ı added my all cases and as it shows my AP should be arrive btw 30 July-28 Sept 30% chance. What you think about this?

@simge do not trust it. it brought my hopes up and i didn’t get it by then. don’t want to be negative but also I don’t want u to trust it as much as I did because I was very dissapointed. stats are gathered from lawfully users but not everyone who applies is in this app so they only have part of the info

my PD was March 1st. Receipt was 29th of March. I put in a request to expedite for AP on June 2nd. I got a reply 2 weeks later with a decline. from what I’ve understood. The process is really fast after you do your biometrics. I read about a case of another person from my city who applied after me and the USCIS had his bio on file and already processed his GC.

i put it an expedite request for 131 yesterday, now I have to wait for them to see if they accept it or deny it. fingers crossed it will be accepted. my PD is March 1st and I never got biometrics appointments or RFEs

sure! where are you from and what’s your PD? I tried to expedite in the live chat with Emma before and all the agents said I couldn’t expedite without biometrics, yesterday I found a nice agent who sent in an expedite request even though I don’t have biometrics. today my case updated to expedite request received, I just have to keep hoping it will be accepted

we sent our docs 30 th of March 2021 and recieved by Uscis in 1 st of April 2021 Marriage base with USC. and National Benefit Center. I am glad that no RFE till this time.And living NJ.

I think sometimes it also depends on where you’re from and where you want to travel, in my case they specifically asked the town I want to travel to ( I’m from Italy). I’m just so impatient and this process is been so stressful, I haven’t been to my country in so long and who knows how long I still have to wait

No! I haven’t received Bio appointment yet. One good thing I’ve received is an RFE for the medical exam. because of USPS delays it took 20 days to deliver it to USCIS. (Good thing is that they’ve opened my case) I’m told to do medical again and bring it to the interview. (this happened over a month ago)

they didn’t approve it yet, I talked to a live agent through Emma and asked if she could check if there was an appointment scheduled and she said it was scheduled for July 26th! I’m so happy!!

I guess they saw the expedite request and scheduled biometrics right away! now I just have to hope my request will be accepted
