CR 1 visa waiting for interview letter from Mumbai, India

Hi, NVC approved our case Oct 29th, 2025. I heard it usually takes about 2.5 months to get the interview letter. When looking at the website it still shows they are scheduling cases approved from Sept 2025. Anyone here that got approved in October started getting interview letters yet?

i just did my physical exam i can apply for my I485 and I765. How long did you guys' exam take? what did the doc do/exam? What questions did they ask?.... and how much did it cost. Mine was a total charge of $425. could have been $50 cheaper but they had to draw a titer for chicken pox.

I was looking at the USCIS website and saw that you can file Form I-485 online. You have to upload the form as a PDF, and then it guides you through submitting the other required documents, such as passport photos, birth certificate, etc. I was reading on the same USCIS website that you can file Form I-485 online while you are inside the U.S. ( I already submitted the I-130 online, I got the receipt by mail in one week, it was very easy, I woukd like to do the same with the I-485) Has anyone done it this way?

Hi, I filed my I-140 on Aug 2024, it’s still pending, I was thinking of paying the PP fee, but I don’t know if my country is included in any holds or if by paying the PP I can still get a decision, I’m from Venezuela.

I-485 admin closed due to unknown removal proceedings — jurisdiction restored 10/20/2025 (NBC). Interview waiver experiences?

Marriage-based AOS (IOE), filed 05/08/2023 • Married Nov 2022, petitioner is USC, beneficiary is Brazilian citizen • Medical (I-693) submitted with initial packet • Biometrics 2023 • EAD received Dec 2023 • I-130 approved Jan 28, 2025 • No RFE / no criminal issues Important background: my I-485 was administratively closed because I was in removal proceedings (we didn’t know). AP was denied due to no USCIS jurisdiction. Removal case is resolved/terminated and USCIS regained jurisdiction on 10/20/2025. API: 3x FTA0 on 12/10/2025. Since then only H028 “touches”. myProgress shows Step 4 “Case decision”. Questions: 1. Anyone with AOS after removal proceedings terminated get approved without interview? 2. Did you see FO transfer before interview scheduling? 3. Any patterns with 3–4 FTA0 before approval? Thanks in advance!

anyone knows the time range for a child base on me filing vawa , when the child would receive their greencard. I received my Green card June 2025, I sent in my daughter i131, i765 and i485 april 2024, shes in the US. she receive her travel and work permit November 2024. they transferred her case Jan 2025 and nothing more to then.

I-751 Joint Filing → Separation & Divorce Pending – What to Expect?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice or similar experiences. I filed I-751 jointly on March 1, 2024. My spouse and I separated in July 2025, and I updated my address with USCIS the same week. I filed for divorce shortly after, but service was delayed because the sheriff couldn’t locate him. I eventually used a special process server, and he was served in December 2025 and filed an appearance. We don’t have a court date yet. As of today, I’m still in status with the 4-year extension, but I haven’t received my 10-year green card, even though it’s been about 690 days since filing. I also have limited joint evidence, which was part of the reason for the separation (finances and decisions were mostly controlled by my spouse). I spoke with a lawyer who advised me to wait until the divorce is finalized before notifying USCIS and converting to a divorce waiver. Has anyone been in a similar situation? What should I expect next—RFE, interview, or continued delay? Would you wait for the divorce decree or notify USCIS now? Thanks in advance. #i751 #divorce #i751waiver
