I filed my RTD application on Nov 2024 and it was approved today. did an e-request on july 2026 because it said at that moment 16 months and I was around 20 months waiting.
I'm from Venezuela. one of the 39 countries
Would like to know if somebody have any recent experience traveling with RTD while waiting for the GC. let me know your experience

I was travel with my RTD without my green card (i485 pending) from May 5 to July 27. I am not from any ban list country. I come back at JFK T1. The first officer just ask where I come from today and check my information like name, age. Then he sent me to secondary check. I just wait 2min. The officer said byebye and gave back my document.

no problem I just came back from Netherlands they just send me to secondary for 4-5 mins max just asking address only nothing else

@Jay s Thai and Turkey, but they only asked me the departure airport, so I told them Istanbul.
