hi guys, wife’s i130 was approved on August 7 and my i485 was updated to actively reviewing on the same day. sine August 7, I am waiting my 485 to be approved. I am confused that what is going on??
what do you guys think? Is it gonna help if I write a letter to my LOCAL SENATOR. thank you

Status shows fingerprint were taken but asks for biometrics
Hello ,
I was denied for I-485 in the past like 20 months ago and at that time biometrics were taken.
with new I-485 USCIS with new I-140 approved , indicated in my new I-765 that my fingerprint were applied which is from previous I-485.
However , I was scheduled for biometrics appointment, any explanations please ?

15.5 months of wait.
It started in Nebraska, after K3 it went to Potomac, then it went back to Nebraska and approval came from the Texas center

What You Need to Do
You must provide the following information in order for us to make a final decision on your case:
Submit a written request for an exemption of the two year residency period.
USCIS records reflect that you married your spouse while they may have been in immigration proceedings.
Section 204(g) of the Act states that a petition may not be approved to grant an alien immediate relative status based on a marriage entered into while immigration proceedings are pending against the alien until the alien has resided outside the United States for a two year period after the date of marriage or the alien establishes by clear and convincing evidence that the marriage was entered in good faith, was not entered into for the purpose of procuring the alien’s admission as an immigrant, and no fee or other consideration was given for the filing of a petition.

Rank of my case in Case Analysis in Lawfully moved one back :(
Today I checked lawfully’s case analysis for my i485 - it shows 4th out of 119. It was 3rd for last few months. Initially 3rd in 118 then 3rd in 119 and now 4th in 119 - said one case moved ahead of me. Wondering how this is tracked and why would a case move ahead of another in ? Any idea and did it happen to anyone else too here ? Mine is India PD Nov 2022. GC interview done in June all other docs finger prints etc done earlier including medicals. Please share if any of you have any insights into this. Thanks and best wishes to all for their speedy approvals.
