@Lily J.D why don’t you contact USCIS? after 5 years, you have the right to know what happened to your application. you can check it online, you can submit request to USCIS, you can talk to 2 line officer. And I can tell you, they are not actively working on it because you are silent. it is first come first serve principle as USCIS says. Well, it seems right now they are serving someone who is currently years after you. Then they will tell you that they don’t have capacity to process family applications and excess numbers will go to H1B holders queue. It was going on for years. so enjoy 😉 and keep posting in this forum.
