Has anyone received an appointment from the National Visa Center (NVC) in 2025 and traveled back to their home country for the interview? If so, please share your experience, including any challenges or successes. Your insights will help us prepare and know what to expect.
Almost 14 month..
Long waiting is very stressful. In various communities, it's mentioned that if the review takes a long time, it indicates that the case is questionable. It would be very disappointing if, after such a long wait, I receive an RFE followed by a denial. Nevertheless, I'm staying positive and waiting with my fingers crossed.

military parole in place
has anyone info about the military parole in place? how it works, what we need to do for it, is it an option to be able to wait for the GC in the states, how do I need to enter the states to be able to do it?
I am waiting in my home country until the visa is approved but it would be amazing if the military parole in place is a option for me to stay in the states until the CR1 is finally approved
I just heard about it a few days ago but don’t really understand how it works.
thank you!
happy
I'm so happy everyone
9 days 1 week I was declared Citizenship at Grove of Anaheim So happy End of 335 days of supporting the US Citizenship test 11 months 11 days end of 5 years 10 months 11 days First 2 year green card permanent resident on 5th 8th 2019 Under the 5 year program I will have dual citizenship of Vietnam and the US
From I134A to adjust statut
I came in US under the humanitarian parole program, before I already had a permanent residence case in progress, after entering the US I applied for the status adjustment, but the newspapers said that the current administration has taken a break from any type of benefit that an immigrant enters on CHNV, but no official note from DHS or USCIS, I would like to know how many people are in the same thing as me
if it’s really true they take a break on these people?
8 months no interview yet
it has been 8 months and I haven’t heard back from immigration about the citizenship interview. I thought it was usually within 6 months.
