Finally greened!! (Don’t give up hope!! 🙏🏼)
hey everyone, it’s finally my turn! I received the update that “a new card is being produced”. After dealing with visas/immigration for a decade, I almost didn’t believe that this status means my case was finally approved (and probably won’t until I have the GC in hand).
That said, for anyone who feels like the wait (and weight of this situation) is unbearable, please don’t give up hope! I recognize how anxiety/stress inducing this entire process can be, but take a breath and try to keep pushing forward. - No interview or RFE (I had heard that it was common to get RFEs for the birth certificate translation, so I made sure to get that translated early (with notorization) and tripled checked all docs before submitting)
- CRP during retrogression this year ~July 2024.
- Status changed to New Card Being Produced on Nov 1st.

My update: Responded to I-485 medical RFE and it was received by USCIS ON SEPTEMBER 10th (According to FedEx tracking). However I have not seen any update on my app yet . Don’t know why it’s taking that long!!! please share your thoughts.

Waiting for Case Creation Letter.
Our I-130 petition has been approved, but we have not yet received the case creation letter. It has been over 40 days since the approval. We received a letter from USCIS stating that the National Visa Center (NVC) would contact us within 30 days. However, we still have not heard anything from them. We submitted an inquiry to the NVC, but they have not responded. We are feeling very anxious about this situation. Could anyone please advise us on what steps we should take next?

I got an update about a month ago on my I485.
it stated my case is ready to be scheduled for interview, it’s been a month and the interview haven’t been scheduled. please does anyone have such experience and how long did it take for USCIS to schedule the interview?
