I’ve received my combo card, however I haven’t receive the SSN number ?? can I travel without it ? or I need to wait ? and it’s been about a week since I got my combo card.. where should I contact so I can get my SSN ?

Employment based Green card on Cross Chargeability

Hello Community. Is there anyone who got approved his/her employment based green card on Cross Chargeability. I just received my combo card in my hand last week and wondering if my interview will be waived or not. I didn’t submit my medical during my I485 submission. How long it will take time to schedule the interview or the medical RFE (in case interview waived). If anyone from this community share his/her experience will be much appreciated. My PD is Oct 2020 and FO is St. Louis MO Thanks in advance.

Hi guys I filed for removal of conditions on my green card in march of this year and received a 18 months extension while they process my paperwork. If approved I should receive a 10 year green card, however I just received another extension of 24 months, no explanation, so I’m wondering why would I need an 18months extension and a 24 months extension. I’m confused, anyone had this experience?

Do you think my EAD is near?

hi guys, I just want to ask, I submitted my vawa case April and it was acknowledged as received by June 24, 2021. I just want to ask, does this mean it starts counting from date of filing or date received. thanks

Reasons for delay in processing RFE response

hello folks potomac service center - I submitted RFE response for STEM extension EAD ..which was recd on Sept 20 and expected response was on Nov 20...no update yet.. what is the scenario ..how does uscis RFE response? why so much delay? apprpacher congressman inquiry submitted it's been one week...

Work travel- sufficient reason for rescheduling i751 interview?

For work, I have a very important travel plan that was already scheduled for about 2 months now. I was told to not purchase any hotels or flights yet as the duration is unknown and was told recently of the duration, which will be Dec 5-Dec9. I got in the mail that I have a scheduled interview for I751 and it is on Dec 7. Dec 6 and Dec7 are the most important days for me at work. My work is willing to provide any documentation to support in rescheduling this interview. I called USCIS to reschedule and they told me that request have been submitted but it may be denied or accepted. The problem is that I will hear back from them in three weeks, which is after my interview date. First, does my interview rescheduling reason seem sufficient? Second, any advice? I am freaking out here as I do not want to risk anything to my visa while I also do not want to miss this work travel as it is VERY important for me and I do not want to lose my job.

My EAD is expired and I sent in for a renewal before it expired and have the receipt notice that automatically extends it for 180days, I got a new job offer and wanted to know if anyone has been able to used the expired EAD and receipt for I9 verification?

Hello All, I applied for my moms GC. we got her EaD and advanced parole. she wants to go to india to meet our relatives and come back for interviews. my question is, how long it is taking between EAD approval and interview for GC. Also, is there any risk associated with her travel?

Hi all. I have concerns that I hope someone with similar experiences can answer. I came to the USA in 2008 with my wife is a US citizen. we did not have the money to adjust status and got denied a fee waiver at the time. Consequently I overstayed my i-94 for 10 years. I have left 3.5 years ago to my country of birth, Australia, where were trying to fix my situation. my wife remained in the USA. My wife now has cancer and is going through chemotherapy. I applied for a travel document, i-131 to be able to come back and be with her. My question is if approved will I get any trouble at the port of entry because of my previous overstay? Please any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I751 waiver pending after interview

How long does it take for a case I 751 to receive a decision when assigned to an officer after multiple service requests? ( pending after interview and outside normal processing time)

my visa is k-2 and the case was received on january 28, 2021. i had my biometrics taken last august 09, 2021 but until now there is no change on my status.. i’m kinda getting frustrated cuz i see a lpt of april 2021 filers getting their cards

I submitted my I-751 September 15,2020 biometric May 17,2021 apply N-400 September 9 still Don’t heard anything form them. I lived in Greenville,SC My local office is Greer ,SC I did I called USCIS yesterday they said if I have one of each applications scheduled for interview they will be combo interview. but my n-400 case is estimated 11 months right now. my local office maybe slowest one.

Expedite EAD w/Job Letter

Hi All! I recently expedited my EAD based on the possibility of losing my job! Should I expect USCIS to call up my job to verify the letter I sent? If so, how soon? I sent the evidence last week and I want to alert my HR Officer.
