hello Layth, here's what USCIS says about filling for a spouse as an asylee/refugee: https://www.uscis.gov/family/getting-derivative-refugee-asylum-status-for-your-spouse this is in the event of having been approved for asylum. you must do this within the first 2 years as an asylee/refugee.

Layth - then, you should apply for that I-730 as soon as possible. rasha - USCIS will let you know by mail when they schedule your interview and anything related to your asylum case. So, make sure that they always have your correct and current mailing address at all time. M Milani - it is a process that takes 1.5 to 2 years on average. could be longer depending on the backlog.

rasha - you're welcome. 🙂 it's a long and frustrating wait. I applied in January 2017, and just got my 3rd EAD. I'm waiting for my interview, too. so, I understand your situation very well. let's hope that 2022 is the year we get that interview finally.

M Milani - I absolutely have no idea. I'm sorry. but because it is USCIS, you should prepare for a long wait because that process can take up to 2 years.
