The N-400 will push them to adjudicate your I-751 because by law there is a period your N-400 must be adjudicated. The cannot approve your N-400 without working on the I-751 first

thank you Rocco. I pray for myself. I got job offer. I sent all documents to hr. But they have questions about extension letter that I only have them for 6 months left. I don’t know where to start. because I need the job for make living I just pray that hr fix it out some how.

I think you’ll need to educate HR and assure them that this is just a transition time for you….I lived in greenville, SC. most people there don’t know about immigration porcessses

I don’t think you need to send all kinds of info. they got your ssn and work permit. all they care whether you will need to sponsor to continue working for them. the more you send them.. the more questions they’ll have.

I got the 24 months extension about a month ago from Potomac

@festival, they transferred it because you filed for N-400. That’s the only way to get your case out of Potomac really

honestly my i751 was transferred to NBC in October 2020 originally filed March 2020 Vermont. nothing. then I filed my n400 in June 2021. still waiting (Newark NJ) in September 2020 I moved from NY to NJ

I wonder why my case still not Transfer yet. my I-751 pending with YSC since September 15, 2020 biometric May 17 ,2021 n-400 applied on September 10 ,20221 I’m not sure if something wrong with YSC or just my local office can not process on time.

@festival N-400 takes between 6 to 9 months from date of filing if everything goes well. Transferring your case out of that dead service center called Potomac is always a good sign

@khemika they will transfer you any moment now unless the officer handling your N-400 hasn’t requested for your I-751 file

your n400 is decided by your field office. yout i751 will most likely get a combo interview with your n400

I saw a lot of case I-751 at Protamac that case pending with YSC in the same period with me got transfer to another office now. I saw my n-400 show estimate 10 months right now. I probably have to wait for another 10 months to get both approved. I never got lucky with USCIS just pray for it.

I realize that depends on our local office now. I applied n-400 since March but Greer , SC is estimated 14 months for n-400 I seen people at my work me got interview n-400 around 13-14 months too.

I just got notice that my interview was scheduled. But the letter didn’t say if I should bring my husband because my I-751 status still not change status as well.

bring your husband just in case they need him .. u may never know

@khemika I am in the exact same situation in the same office. Greer SC. My interview for the N-400 is on June 14th at 7:30AM. My I-751 is still pending and in a Benefits Center. What are you going to do? Should this be a combo interview?

I call USCIS tier 2 call me back and told me that I have to bring my husband . when I get there I have to told the security that I also have I-751 pending so I have to bring my husband inside with me. I ask USCIS tier 2 if they can provided me the letter for I-751 interview in the same day. They said if n-400 appointment already scheduled they will not have another interview scheduled for I-751 for me. My interview it’s on June 14 at 8:10 am hopefully we will pass this process easy together.
