Case Processing
#greencard #adjustmentofstatus
So my parents had their green card interview (I-485) at the Los Angeles Field Office in November of 2021 but a decision was not made at the end. They were give a letter which said their case was being held for further review. Officer just said to expect a decision in the mail. So far no mail and not even a case status update online. Online case status is still "interview scheduled"
Has anyone been in this situation? When should they inquire or expect a decision online/mail???
Please help, almost been 30 days!!
My parents have 20+years without visiting their home country and family members :(
Has anyone contacted Vermont….
And actually gotten a response back?
This will be my 3rd time trying to get information about my case. I just spoke to a rep from USCIS & as it’s a Vawa case, they’re unable to see any info regarding whether or not if my i485 filed in 2018 has now been connected to my newly approved Vawa case. Has anyone else had this question??

Case reopened for reconsideration
Hi, my i485 was reopened by uscis after beginning on this month after my removal proceedings has been terminated back in October. i did both my i485+i130 interviews in January and even though I was still in removal the officer did the i485 interview. i130 was approved but i485 was administratively closed. after I sent the court termination letter to uscis they reopened my case and said they will make decision upon review. my question is how long does it take for uscis to approve case after reopening, specially with interview done? Thank you
