485j receipt after supplement j as a part of rfe along with medical?
Would you please share if you received an RFE asking for 1) medical and 2) supplement j for employment-based i-485? If yes, did you receive a 485j receipt notice after submitting supplement j as a part of the RFE?
I received a pink-colored RFE asking for medical and supplement j, which I have submitted. The uscis has acknowledged that they have received my response to the rfe and that they have started working on my case again and will send me their decision. However, I have heard that uscis first sends you a 485j receipt notice before they adjudicate your case... now, I am not sure if the 485j receipt is only for the supplement j submitted along with i-485 and that it is not for supplement j that is submitted as a part RFE along with medical. Given that the uscis has acknowledged the receipt of my response to the RFE, I was wondering if I still am going to get a 485j receipt before they adjudicate my case... any thoughts and experience are much appreciated. This discussion may help others who are in the same boat as me! Thank you!

Bios cancelled due to inclement weather
Yesterday i had bios scheduled but due to inclement weather my asc office was closed. (nicholas t.s) whats the next step? do i have to reschedule? will uscis reschedule for me? when should i hear back from them? this will delay my case even more 😔

guys, immigration officials make us suffer. they really don’t know what people is going through. they simply don’t care. they make people wait for years to see their loved ones!!! we have to change that and protest that they can’t ignore the people pain like that. they are working with our taxes money. they should work for us and end the long waiting line that doesn’t seem to end. please I’m open to ideas on how should we come together to form a group and make them hear our voice. I’m waiting on comments .
I-539 - COS - H4 TO F1 - Nebraska center
Hi, I am currently pursuing masters on H4. I had applied for I539-Change of status from H4 to F1 on August 12th 2020. It’s been more than a year but I am yet to have my case approved. I gave my biometrics on Feb 5th 2021. Anticipated completion of masters is Dec’2021. Now I have an offer and expected to join by Oct mid.
Is it a good option to get F1 stamped in India with only 4 months left for course completion? What are the chances of approval?
I applied for expedite processing request 2 weeks back stating that I have an offer and I am desperately in need of approval before Sep 20th 2021. But this request got declined by USCIS.

My receipt notice of my I-485 was send back to USCIS

I received a notification from USCIS , On September 15 , 2021, the post office returned a notice we sent you for your Form I-485, because they could not deliver it.This could have a serious effect on your case.
please what should I do for USCIS to send me back ?

Am I the only one waiting on N-600
Submitted N600 for my son, who is 17 yrs old and it seems like we've been waiting forever. He's currently on hold to enter the military, as his GC pic is apparently too young to be accepted. We've applied for his passport since May 2021 and still waiting. Feel truly stuck at the moment.
Has anyone been approved for N600 lately, what was your experience? Will he need to have an interview as well?

485 RFE response and decision
Hi,
my 485 was filed in MSC (based on the application number) on Dec 2020. I got the RFE recently to submit the medical records. but the RFE letter instructed me to ship the response to Durham USCIS office.
Any idea if the document will be shipped back from Durham office to MSC for further processing or if the decision will be taken by the officials in Durham office?.
