Case Processing
How accurate are the processing times on USCIS website?
I have i 765 case in Nebraska and on the USCIS website estimate time range is 4~8 months, other service centers have it as long as 12 months but I haven't seen any approvals from Nebraska recently, only NBC. So how accurate are these numbers? According to USCIS all March, April and May cases should be processed, except i-485(c9).
I only receive an sms no email what should I do pls anyone has same thing

my EAD was approved. I’m happy that it was approved, but I have concerns with how much longer it’ll take to get a green card interview, or if there are any additional steps to it. After the EAD being approved, do you get a green card interview notice, or is there an additional notice before receiving a permanent residence interview notice?
I-130 approved but I-485 still pending. how long after getting approved I-130 your I-485 was approved?
hi my I-130 was approved and we received the approval notice but our I-485 is still pending, my immigration case is complex. Our interview was in oct 2021 and the I-130 was approved last week but we don’t have any news in regards to the I-485. I wonder if any of you had similar experiences.

I-485 outside of normal processing times ombudsman
hello,
I applied for an EB2 visa in Texas on December 2017, my I-140 was approved and I had my AOS interview in December 2020. it has been 13 months and no response.
Things I did so far:
opened 3 outside of normal processing times.
on the first, they said my application needed further processing.
on the second, they said it was pending background check.
on the third, (they responded this week) pending background check again.
I reached out to the Congresswoman:
they called me from congress on the very next day, on the phone they told me they were willing to help me expedite my I-765, but they could do nothing in regards to my I-485 because the processing times don't apply to cases that have had the interview. ( the expedite for the EAD was denied by the way).
I reached out to ombudsman, they sent an enquiry to USCIS about two months ago or maybe even a bit more. then they got no response from USCIS, so they send me an email about a month after telling they were sending a follow up enquiry.
today the ombudsman sent me an email with the following information:
Thank you for your request for case assistance. In response to our inquiry, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) indicated that your case is under active review. However, USCIS was unable to provide a specific timeframe for resolution of the case. Our office will continue to monitor USCIS’ progress on a regular basis until there is a specific action or resolution. We will notify you when we receive an update from USCIS.
So the response from the outside of normal processing times two days ago said it was on background check and ombudsman just said it is under active review.
maybe background check is also active review?
has anyone experienced these messages?
any tips on what to do?

interview scheduled at wrong field office
I moved to a different state last October. we got a interview notice for my I485 and it was at a office in LA where we used to live. my lawyer told me I have to reschedule the interview because LA office has no jurisdiction over my case since I am living in Maryland now. does anyone know how long it will take to get a new appointment at the correct field office? thank you!
