Employment based GC : EAD approved but AP denied
Hi,
Anybody experienced issue where EAD is approved but AP was denied.
Most common reason for AP denial is international travel. I my case I did not travel outside US.

have not received a denial letter yet, but received EAD without AP.

Got it. nothing to worry. You will get the Denial letter from the USCIS and accordingly you will have multiple options to challenge the denial

any other reason than international AP can be denied?

if a person with a pending I-131 application leaves the U.S. without a valid AP document, or if the AP document expires during the trip abroad, the pending I-131 will be denied.

Do you already have a gc or is this pending? It’s possible that if you’re waiting for gc you may not need ap. Would need more info. Good luck

I’ve heard this can be an error on the 131 including the omission of your A number on the original paperwork
