I 485 RFE response sent on Dec 1st 2021, case status still shows RFE issued. Louisville, FO
Hello Community members,
I was issued I485 RFE on Nov 4th 2021. Responded to the same with evidence on Dec 1st. My response packet was delivered to Louisville, FO on Dec 2nd. My case status online still reflects Request for Initial Evidence sent on Nov4th. The deadline to respond to my RFE is Jan 31st 2022. I am concerned that my case status is not updated to something like RFE response received. Is this delay expected? Does USCIS updates the status once RFE response was received for I485? I have called USCIS contact center and raised an SR requesting the acknowledgement of my response. The SR takes 30 days to respond and sometimes USCIS does not respond to SR as well. I am aslo concerned if Louisville, FO says we never received your response after Jan 31st and rejects my application. Any thoughts or guidance on next steps are appreciated.
Interview Delayed
Has anyone dealt with having the consulate interview being delayed because you’ve been married less than one year? I’m a USC petitioning for my husband. NVC approved our financial and civil documents on 1/6/22 but we were told today that because my husband and I haven’t been married for a year yet, they basically won’t schedule an interview until our one-year anniversary. We got married 5/29/21. How ridiculous is this?! If you’ve dealt with this, what did you do?

hi everyone!
I call USCIS this morning to request expedite I-131 couple hours later I got a notification that my interview has been scheduled
I live in NJ,
my question is that even tho I live in NJ, they took my fingerprints in NYC. So I heard that my interview might be in NYC but they won’t let me go into interview without NY ID. So what should I do?

life gets extremely complicated with USCIS folks. I am afraid we have resolved to just accepting things the way they are going; it’s the new normal for us because we are just pawns in this scheme of gross incompetence. No one is fighting for us, the lawyers are just there for the money. They sometimes look like they don’t even know what is going on. I was actually the one who first informed my lawyer that one of my cases was approved!! Call the USCIS and the person behind the phone has only two scripted sentences for you! No one seems to care about what your children will eat, where they will sleep, a job for you etc. Why on earth in the fastest growing economy in the world would it take sometimes up to three years to get a work permit? EB2, I-485 @ Texas Service Center
Hi Friends, did any of you receive approvals from Texas Service Center on their I-485 applications? My PD is Jan 2012 , got reciept of I-485 on Nov 3rd 2021, what to expect from this Center. We have waiting 15 yrs for the dates to become current and TSC timelines show it can take 10 to 22 months which is super ubnoxious. Can you please share your experience with this center. Are there any possible ways to expedite the application?
Experience at I485 interview
In October 2020, my VAWA was approved and went for my I485 interview on November 9th 2021 at the Atlanta field office. The interview wasn’t difficult as it was only on General questions about me, my spouse and the rest. Please, can someone help me why the officer would;
1. Tell me to sign her typed information that my questions to some answers were true under oath?;
2. Why she asked me to stay aside on my way out while she did something on my ID (photocopy) or something I don’t know on a machine towards the exit; and
3. Why until now, my status still shows “interview was rescheduled “ like it was before I attended the interview?
As a matter of fact, she even told me to be checking the status for USCIS response. These are my concern and would gladly need clarification on what could be on.
