EB2, I-485 @ Texas Service Center
Hi Friends, did any of you receive approvals from Texas Service Center on their I-485 applications? My PD is Jan 2012 , got reciept of I-485 on Nov 3rd 2021, what to expect from this Center. We have waiting 15 yrs for the dates to become current and TSC timelines show it can take 10 to 22 months which is super ubnoxious. Can you please share your experience with this center. Are there any possible ways to expedite the application?

TSC is heavily backlogged and people with receipt dates of Oct 2020-yes 2020, are still waiting on approval. I still don’t know why USCIS doesn’t share cases between centers to balance the load.

we infact got reciept notices with MSC, after a few days we got transfer notices stating that our cases are moved to TSC for "faster" processing. how do they plan to process faster with a mound of backlog is quiet perplexing.

mine is EB2 - Aug 2012. downgraded and got EAD in august.

mine is moved to NBC.. from TSC.

I would suggest chat with them to find where the case status is.. some times it may help. and also put expedite request.

Prepare yourself for long waiting. People who applied at the beginning of 2020 are still waiting for I-485. for EAD, they almost finished applications from October 2020. Texas is very slow and very strict if you try to expedite.
