life gets extremely complicated with USCIS folks. I am afraid we have resolved to just accepting things the way they are going; it’s the new normal for us because we are just pawns in this scheme of gross incompetence. No one is fighting for us, the lawyers are just there for the money. They sometimes look like they don’t even know what is going on. I was actually the one who first informed my lawyer that one of my cases was approved!! Call the USCIS and the person behind the phone has only two scripted sentences for you! No one seems to care about what your children will eat, where they will sleep, a job for you etc. Why on earth in the fastest growing economy in the world would it take sometimes up to three years to get a work permit? The American immigration system is the most draconian abuse of human rights since the Second World War

yes the scripted part is soo true whenever i call to get progress about a case they tell me the same thing so i just track on uscis

It’s true, I totally agree. people are suffering and these folks don’t give a fuck. I can’t imagine that they let people suffer that way and nobody give a fuck about it. i don’t understand how their fucking system work. I’m really depressed and lost

I can’t agree more! Nobody who isn’t in the process has idea how stressful and unfair USCIS is. Any other country has a better immigration agency than USA.

your words are my words. that is so frustrating what is been happened with my case too. i been waiting for my work permit around a 1 year, and nothing. I call them many times and they just tell me to keep waiting. they don’t care about us.

yes totally agree! we are suffering and there is no rights for us who have a case with Uscis. I was hoping seeing a progress this year but looks like Uscis doesn’t want to admit they are making mistakes and must correct ASAP

tmTotally agree! I have been meaning to call uscis, but I am afraid I will hinder my process. my process was a litlle difficult and it seemed to move pretty fast in the beginning. However, once the i485 and employment document were filed I feel is going slow. My DACA is about to expire and I really do not want to renew, I would like to see if I qualify for exoedite, but again I am afraid to do this without my lawyer. my lawyer already said I should renew if I have no updated news by February.

totally agree! This uscis is joke. They treat us like trash. Everybody that does serious business is open, despite omicron. But this uscis uses every Covid excuse to shut down
