Case Processing
✨ Big News – Our Green Card is Approved! 🇺🇸
After a long journey, our immigration case finally got approved on October 11, 2025! 🙏
Our interview was held on September 26, 2025, and it was quite detailed — the officer interviewed me and my wife separately for about an hour each. They asked about every visa we’ve held in the past (we had 4–5 different U.S. visas), and went through everything very carefully.
The interview went smoothly overall, but the officer was a little confused about our priority date, so she said she would double-check everything before making a final decision. At the end, she brought us both together, asked if we had any questions, and when I asked about the approval timeline, she mentioned it could take up to 120 days.
To our surprise and happiness, exactly two weeks after the interview, both me and my wife got our approval notices! 🎉
It’s been a long process full of patience, hope, and faith — but finally, it’s done! ❤️🇺🇸
any questions is more then welcome
finally 💚
after almost 5 years, my journey has come to an end!
my interview was Sept 9th and I had to wait until
oct to have more visas available so they could approve my case!
be patient and resilient that’s my tip. there’s nothing else we can do 😂

Encouragment
I filed my VAWA in September 2022 and last month made it exactly 3years but no RFEs or Decisions yet though I’ve been receiving my PRIMA FIECE.
But today, I just felt it in my spirit to tell someone here to Hold on, your journey is not in vain. Every day you wait brings you one step closer to a new beginning. Keep hope alive, because good news travels slowly, but it does arrive. Your story is still unfolding, and the best chapters are ahead. I know it’s draining, frustrating, and depressing but hold on and soon, we will all testify.

F-1 student visa vs Vawa
I m an f-1 student and I have a Vawa case.
I am trying to take some online classes but the school is not letting me take more than 1 class because they are using my international student status. I already have a prima facie. I am still paying tuition for international student which is very expensive.
Now my advisor is asking me if I want to cancel my f-1 status?
should I cancel my f-1 status and stay with the Vawa only? Vawa is still pending.
I would appreciate any advice.
Thank you.

n-400 decision cannot be made
I had my naturalization interview at the USCIS Holtsville office on September 22, 2025. The officer was polite and professional throughout the process. I successfully passed both the English and civics test, and the officer even congratulated me for doing well.
At the end of the interview, the officer told me that a decision could not be made at this time. I had applied for my N-400 with a fee waiver, and during the interview, the officer asked me about my income. Out of nervousness, I accidentally said that I make $70,000 a year — which was not true. I honestly don’t know how that figure came out of my mouth; it was a slip of the tongue because I was very anxious during the interview.
The officer immediately pointed it out and said something like, “If you make $70,000, then how did you qualify for a fee waiver?” That’s when I realized my mistake and quickly corrected myself, explaining that my actual income is around $15,000, not $70,000. All my submitted documents clearly show my real income, and the mistake was purely out of nervousness.
I’m still hopeful for a positive outcome and will update once I receive the final decision.

#Does anyone know what I can do in that case? I already went to my interview and when I call there they don't answer me. The agent told me that it would only take a month to make a decision and still nothing
