i485 timeline for RoW these days
Hi folks,
I wanna understand the processing times of 485. my PD is Sep 2025 and i140 is approved. Since RoW is still current and I wanna understand how much would it take for USCIS to approve or make a decision on AOS? Are AOS cases processed based on their priority dates or if it depends on which FO your 485 is transferred? Any guidance will be much appreciated

How long has your I-485 been pending? You need to call USCIS or chat with a live agent on “ask Emma” and ask where your case currently is - either still at NBC or at a Field Office

it always depends on the complexity of the case. straightforward case. interview yes or no. rfe yes or no. eg most people don’t include medical exam. so this leads into an RFE and takes time.

mi PD of I-140 is September 2023 too. And I-485 filed in July 2025 . I’m still waiting. Never RFE . I have ead and ap .

You are still within the normal processing time for your case type. Your case type typically gets processed within 12-24+ months.
