Case Processing
i751 and n400 combo interview
Did my combo interview yesterday. Officer said i751 would be quick and more of a formality since I had submitted so much evidence.
N400 was quick. Passed the civics test, reading and writing. Went over my travel history and that was it.
Even though the officer sounded very convincing everything was good and would approve it, she said immigration processes have become more strict and gave me a paper saying I passed but a decision cannot be made at this time. Told me to expect approval by the end of the week.
Anyone here had a similar experience?

Question
#VAWA
Hi, guys!
I submitted my VAWA case on November 2024.
I just got an update saying “ Correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it”. The status before this one was “Fees were waived”.
I’m not sure what this means considering I have not received an RFE request or sent any other information after the initial package.
Does anyone have any idea what this could mean?
For more context, I filled VAWA and AOD together. EAD and AP were approved on March 2025 and I got my second prima facie a few weeks ago.
post interview response
hello guys ! I had my interview on January 12th Philadelphia office- the officer said no problem with the marriage so far we are good but we have to wait for background check- haven’t seen any change on my status online at all- is anyone with same situation showing interview scheduled nothing else.
cases pending
my wife submitted my I-130 in Aug 2024, I then submitted the I-485 sept and the I-765 in Oct same year. Early oct we got a RFE for the I-130 and I-485 and submitted the information with a week. Oct 29 we got RFE response and then nothing since then. I called USCIS and they told me that it’s at Adjudication stage right now. Is there any way for me to get some information on how long it will take at this point? my cases are at the NBC.
I-140 Expedited Process Experience
Hi colleagues,
Does anyone have experience with, or know someone who has recently expedited an I-140 case?
I filed on January 20, 2024, and my application is still under processing. I am considering expediting my case because I am tired of being in suspension and would like to understand:
- How many days does it take to receive a decision after expediting?
- What has been people’s experience with the biggest concern, namely receiving an RFE?
Note: I am from one of the 75 countries under the partial ban.
Any shared experiences or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
