LIN I-485 case that’s stuck in NBC
I just called USCIS, got Tier 1 support, told him I’ve been waiting for 90days since my RFE was received, and given my 485 recipt date, he told me case in process, and there is no set normal processing time since it changes, and wouldn’t transfer me to a tier 2 agent. When I tried to file online inquiry, the system won’t let me. Does this mean the current wait time after RFE is normal so I can’t file an online inquiry?

@Yivena PD Feb 2021 EB3 (waitNF485) Not sure why these LIN cases are not getting processed at NBC. Submitted my RFE 25 days ago but nothing yet. it’s a daily struggle now thinking about our cases, I see lots of IOE getting processed. It’s definitely not FIFO.

Gemini said one reason paper filed LIN cases stuck is it takes longer than digital filed cases in transfer from place to place. My RFE is medical, and they didn’t sent out the RFE until congresswomen inquired my case. I also checked MyCaseHub, among 100 LIN cohort 485 cases after mine, more than 90% of them have been approved.

I didn’t pay since the current 100 after already pretty strong for my case if I need to seek help from congress. But among the 100 case before mine, I only find 7 485 cases, 2 out of 7 were pending, I think I do need more info about cases before me. There are python scripts that can be used to find those data for free, I haven’t tried yet though.
