hi everyone, really need urgent help
my interview is scheduled for coming Friday and today I got message online stating a duplicate notice is sent to you on i485 decision. so first it was scheduled for an interview now a decision what should I do? appear for an interview regardless? as I will not receive the notice in two days

Has anyone received their asylum green card approval since December?
Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if anyone with an asylum-based green card application has gotten approved recently, especially since December. My case has been pending for over a year and is still stuck on “Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints.”
With the new restrictions being discussed under the Trump administration, I’m also getting worried about whether any upcoming executive orders or policy changes could slow down or affect pending asylum green card applications.
So I’d like to ask:
1. Has anyone seen approvals for asylum-based green cards in December?
2. Could the new administration’s immigration actions affect pending asylee I-485 cases?
3. Has anyone received RFEs, interview notices, or any updates recently?
Any experiences or timelines would really help. Thanks in advance!
cancelled asylum, green card through marriage now US citizen
I have question and is wondering if anyone is in this same situation. I filed for asylum, got married to a US citizen got green card and then cancelled asylum. then became a US citizen. Can I return to home country and back to the US without any issues?

I went on reddit last night and someone from August posted about their approval, was curious how my API looked like so I went on USCIS and approval was under documents tab!!
About my case.
Started in California
in 2024 got transferred to Vermont,
FTA0 completed in January 2025,
October 8th 2025 transferred to Nebraska.
December 8th approval - notice came from Texas, so exactly 2 months after transfer got approval.
No update on uscis website yet but approval is there.

second initial interview request
I had my first interview with my spouse at Albany field office on 06/25/25 and got RFE for medical, my medical was received on 07/01/25, 11/04/25 I got notified that my interview got cancelled, USCIS said it must be a system glitch regarding the cancellation notice and my case is in processing, today 12/08/25 I got and update from USICS requesting another initial interview on 01/12/26, I am confused with it, have anyone had gone through the same situation

I asked Emma in April and she said that my case had been transferred to Chicago Fo which is non-local Fo. Later, I asked twice and got the same answer. There has been no update so far. Is Chicago FO one of the slowest FOs?

I got an RFE after the interview
I went to the Tampa Field interview on October 28 and the interview was so smooth and the officer was super nice . He just asked us basic questions about our daily life and then we moved into the yes and no Questions.
It turned out that way were missing My wife ex divorce paper. We submitted the evidence online three days later And then it says online that they received the evidence and I’ve been waiting since then

I just received an interview notice for my I-485 application (scheduled for December 18).
I’m nervous and scared at the same time.
I had my I-130 interview last year on October 10, and it was approved on the spot after 3 years of filing and waiting.
In March 2025, I received an RFE for my I-485 and responded 1 month later, in April, but I never heard back from them.
I just received a letter in the mail from USCIS today stating:
