Had our interview Dec 1 but because of an inadmissible question my case was sent for review, so on Dec 7 I wrote an affidavit stating the reason why I chose no and it was a misunderstanding not a misrepresentation also got letter from the organization and uploaded them to my unsolicited evidence. on Dec 8 got a notification Cancellation for Request for Additional Evidence and on Dec 9 I got an Approval.

What does “ackedByAdjudicatorAndCms: true” mean on my I-485 status?
Hi everyone,
In my USCIS case history (I-485), I see a line that says: “ackedByAdjudicatorAndCms: true.”
Does anyone know what this means in USCIS internal language?
Is it good or bad? Does it mean an officer is reviewing my case?
I had multiple RFEs and a NOID earlier this year, and I responded to all of them.
I'm also from one of the 19 countries ban list
Thanks!
EB1C ROW Filed: July 29th 2025
Hello everyone,
I have filed applications under the EB-1C category, including Form I-485 (Adjustment of Status), Form I-131 (Advance Parole), and Form I-765 (Employment Authorization). My biometrics were completed within 10 days of submission.
My children’s combo cards (EAD + AP) were approved the following week. My wife’s standalone Employment Authorization Document (EAD) was approved on November 20, following an API update on November 16. However, I am still awaiting decisions on all three of my applications.
Additionally, I noticed two “FTA0” events and an unexplained timestamp update on November 26, which appeared across all applications for my entire family without any visible status changes.
My current L-1A status is set to expire in April 2026. I would appreciate any insights on what to expect next and typical timelines for approvals of my I-485, I-131, and I-765.
Thank you in advance for your feedback and guidance.
I got an update on my VAWA that post office returned my notice back to USCIS. This is the same address I have used from the day one. has this happened to anyone and what did you do about it?
I got an update on my VAWA that post office returned my notice back to USCIS. This is the same address I have used from the day one. has this happened to anyone and what did you do about it? I have already requested for a new notice online. I called My Lawyer to find out if they received any notice at all, but they claimed they never saw anything. My receipt came to the same address because this is where I live, And all of a sudden I got this update and I don’t want my kids to be delayed at all. This is my day 727. Has anyone experienced something like this and what did you do about it because I am really confused. I tried calling the USCIS office, but he keeps taking me today robots . I’m not able to get a human to pick my call. I really want to know the content of the notice because I’m sure it is time sensitive. Should I go back and change my address even though I never moved on what do you suggest please help
EAD Delayed 9+ Months – Anyone Else?
My I-730 is approved and I filed for my EAD as well as Green card(i485) under category A05. It’s been 9 months with no update.
I submitted an ‘outside normal processing time’ service request on Nov 28, 2025 but still no response yet.
This is at the Nebraska (LIN) service center.
Has anyone else with A05 faced long delays?
How long did it take after the service request for your case to move? Has anyone received their Green Card before they ever got approved for EAD???

dependant AOS case stuck at NBC even after primary approval-is that normal?
Hey everyone,
I wanted to see if anyone has gone through something similar with a dependent AOS case. My employment-based Adjustment of Status (EB-based AOS) was approved at the beginning of October, but my wife’s case hasn’t moved at all. Her last update was back in June of last year when USCIS marked her RFE response as received. Nothing since then.
I called USCIS today to ask what’s going on, and they told me her case is currently at the National Benefits Center (NBC). That threw me off a bit because I assumed her file would’ve been transferred to the same field office that handled mine. So now I’m trying to figure out a couple things:
• Is it normal for the dependent’s I-485 to still be sitting at the NBC even after the primary applicant is approved?
• Why would it stay there instead of following the primary case to the field office?
• And most importantly… what can I actually do to get this moving? it’s been radio silence for over a year now.
If anyone has been through this or understands the NBC workflow better, I’d really appreciate any insight.
Thanks in advance!
😔
My I-485 interview went smoothly, but the officer noted that my previous consular record incorrectly listed me as “married,” even though I was divorced at that time. I was told to submit a written explanation (clarification/apology letter) and supporting divorce documentation. My case is currently on hold pending this submission.
This is not a denial — it’s a technical discrepancy that needs correction. I am waiting for the RFE (Request for Evidence) to arrive. If anyone has experienced a similar situation (wrong marital status recorded at consular processing), please share how long it took after submitting the response to receive their Green Card.
