almost 2 years and not even an update yet. anybody has the same timeline as me? So much has been going on in my life and I feel stuck being here in the US and not being able to travel to my home country. they haven’t even sent my work permit, I can’t even go searching for a job to take care of myself. my patience is running thin. Hi my i-140 is approved and i am on F-1 visa and will be graduating this summer in August 2026. my plan was to apply for OPT. I heard from my friends that if I apply for the i-485 than I cannot apply for opt. since the visa bulletin is current for my category and country, and given my timeline, do you recommend I still should apply for i-485 or wait a few months and get the OPT and then apply i-485? Would appreciate guidance and openions thanks
