Should I apply for AOS now or wait
Hi my i-140 is approved and i am on F-1 visa and will be graduating this summer in August 2026. my plan was to apply for OPT. I heard from my friends that if I apply for the i-485 than I cannot apply for opt. since the visa bulletin is current for my category and country, and given my timeline, do you recommend I still should apply for i-485 or wait a few months and get the OPT and then apply i-485? Would appreciate guidance and openions thanks

Non local New york field office transferred through NBC. Filed october 14, 2025. No interview. 1 rfe for I20 and i94.
Approved after a month of rfe submitted. Previously worked on OPT all this long. Never worked for employer.

SIJS - Questions to USCIS
Hi there
My case is at NBC and apparently their process time is under “all field offices” instead of “SCOPS”, that being said as it is under all field offices I can already send questions to them regarding my case
I am just wondering how that works, if they actually reply, I’ve seen many people saying they’re contacting their congressman
My PD is current so I would just wait for the next one to be released making sure I’ll continue to be current so I will send them the request
I also asked Emma live agent and they confirmed my case is at NBC and there’s nothing else needed from me
I want to know if anyone did this already and how was the experience

Green Card by Adjustment Cuban Act
I got married in December 2024 and applied for my Green Card through the Cuban Adjustment Act in February 2025. I have already completed my biometrics and received a response to my RFE in July 2025, and I am still waiting for an update on my case. Is anyone else going through the same thing?

I send the congressman from my city a request for assistance on my SIJS pending case 8 days ago I call them 2 days ago for follow up , but they just said that they reviewed and checking how is being processed he said they going to contact me shortly.. how long should I wait ?

it's been long time my case is spending. from 2024 September Kansas showing pending because there is no available Visa. now what you're going to visit bulletin it's current but still no movement. I had taken medical passed on 2021, later again because I was sending inquiry about how long it's going to take. they give me another Medical 2024 and then they put it on pending. so what I have to do now I have to do anything?
