Case Processing
At NVC waiting for interview at SD
Hello everyone!
Just wanted to share some info.. My case was DQ on 11/6/2025. I submitted an expedite request on 5/11/26 for medical and humanitarian purposes for wich DOS responded within 48hrs, denying the expedite request due to my case already being DQ and on line for an interview date. I still have approximately 9 more months of waiting to even receive my interview letter. Santo Domingo is very behind right now, currently working on DQ 02/2025.
ps. My I129F was also denied because it was reviewed way after I received approval for I130. #santodomingo #i130 #consularinterview

denied vawa
I have a pending VAWA case and it’s been 5 years now. What happens if it gets denied? I’ve never applied for any other immigration process before. Would I get an NTA? What would be the next approach if that happens? I don’t really have anything new to add and I’ve been divorced for 4 years now. I know we shouldn’t speculate, but with the current climate, I’d rather be prepared than sorry.
I got the green card
Just as I’ve received so much help through this place, I hope my timeline proves helpful to you as well. I hope some good news comes your way very soon.

Motivation
This is for motivation for who needs it. I have being seeing a lot of frustration here, which I totally understand. But you guys need to find a way to live your life during this difficult time because this is out of our control. It is what it is. I have been dealing with USCIS since 2020, my VAWA has been pending since 2022. I work as an engineer with EAD in one of the top 3 pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. and make more than 80% of the U.S. population, I have a fiancés I take trips with and live a good life. This is not to brag, this is to show you can still live your life while dealing with this administration pain. Live your way, pray, stay positive and stay to update with your case & this administration. Peace!!!
I485
I am completing Form I-485 and have two Forms I-94 due to my initial entry to the United States and a subsequent issue after my asylum approval. Part 1, Question 12 of the form asks for the most recent I-94 information. However, I’ve found conflicting information online; some suggest using the initial I-94, while others recommend using the most recent one issued post-asylum approval. Which I-94 record number should I use?

RFE after interview
I would like to know from those who have already had their interviews if any of you received an RFE after the interview. My status changed today to RFE, but it’s not about the medical exams because I submitted them less than a year ago. Could you share what they asked you for? Thank you!
I’m tired is this normal
I thought would have had the interview by this time. I haven’t received a single update since I submitted on August 20 2025. I’m applying for my spouse that lives in Algeria, and I’m an American Citizen. I honestly don’t know if I need a lawyer at this point to submit an expedited request, or will this affect my application? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
