APPROVAL
I-485/I-30 APPROVED! 🎉💚
We’ve been married for about a year and only knew each other for a few months before getting married.
Our timeline:
June 1 — I-485 received
June 13 — Biometrics scheduled
June 29 — Biometrics completed
August 6 — Interview scheduled
September 10 — Interview completed
September 15 — CASE APPROVED! 🎉
Our interview was very easy. The officer was friendly and joked with us. He didn’t ask any relationship questions or even look through the huge binder of evidence we brought. He told us our I-130 was approved and that he just had a few internal things to finish on the I-485.
Five days after our interview, our I-485 was approved! The whole I-485 process took about 3½ months. 💚🇺🇸
How are people with later PDs getting interviews?
Hi everyone,
Been seeing a lot of posts on different forums that people with PD of even july end are getting interview invite already. current FAD is april 2022.
Also, there was a BDV post that someone from Nepal got approved with PD of May 2026.
Is this a positive news? Do they not have inventory left from 1st quater of 2022 now? If that’s the case we might see a big jump in both FAD and Filing date this Oct bulletin. Looks like its moving fast as people are getting their GC months after applying for AOS.

LA Field OFfice- still waiting!!!
Hello,
Anyone else still waiting for approval after submitting a medical RFE to the LA Field Office?
I’m EB-3 Unskilled, PD 11/11/21. My medical RFE was issued on Aug 11, I submitted it on Aug 25, and it was marked as received on Sep 1. Still waiting for approval.
I’ve seen several similar cases get approved already. Is anyone else in the same boat? Any idea why some cases are taking longer after the medical RFE?
case have been approved finally, my turn !
just found that my case was approved 5 days ago, but the status on lawfully app hasn’t changed. The app seems not reliable as expected.
So I recommend you to check the official website from time to time.
my employer is going to fire me by the end of this month, because I always complain about the work culture and low salary. we are like slaves tied with status and other workmates are submissive like sheep. I really don’t like this employer.
I haven’t had any unskilled job offer right now.
Is there anything that would impact my citizenship?
Deferred Action for SIJS, work permit!
Deferred Action for SIJS . My case was approved in april 2025 . i did not received my DA or EAD , is there anything i can do . i have to pay hefty fee because i didn’t leave my student status yet. Also on my approval letter it says its conditional approval only.
we are processing your case notification after 19 months
Filed i130/i485 under CR1 in Dec 2023, then i130 approval in July 2024. Medical rfe sent to USCIS in April 2024 but then no update until today saying that we are processing your i485.
Has anyone had a similar experience? What does this even mean?
waiting on a miracle
It’s a bittersweet kind of quiet, watching others cross the finish line while you’re still counting the milestones on the map.
We tell ourselves the right timing is being built. Until then, we’re stacking up the PTO, guarding our peace, and holding tight to the fact that we’re already home in each other.
Rooting hard for every single name still stuck on processing. May your approval notice find you when you least expect it. 🤍
