Hello everyone,
My VAWA was approved about four to five months ago, with no RFE or updates since then. I called USCIS to inquire, and they informed me that my case is in the queue, waiting to be assigned to an officer. It’s really frustrating. Has anyone experienced this? How long did it take for your case to be assigned an officer?
I485 EB-2 Interview update
Hi all,
Me and my spouse had I485 interview (cross chargability) today. Overall the interview went okay, the officer separated us for Sworn Statement and asked bunch of questions. I think the main reason for this was that my wife H4 dependent visa was once rejected when she was under her parents due to her aging out and later we got married and she was under my H4 and she came to states with that H4. The officer took more than an hour interviewing my wife and my wife mentioned the officer was focusing and asking how we got married right after her H4 dependent rejection with her parents because we got married after 4 months after her rejection. Basically it was an arrange marriage and the officer wasn’t aware how arrange marriages happen in India and she is surprised that we didn’t even date and got married. Even though we insisted that’s it our culture and it’s pretty much the norm in India the officer wasn’t grasping that. she didn’t ask anything about employment related. We have a child together and I provided her with all evidence for our marriage. I gave the officer my daughter brith certificate, weeding photos, bank account, statement, leasing document, joint insurance and our flights tickets to all the time we traveled. She took everything and told me that she will review the case and update about it within a month.
I heard geeting a sworn statement is a bad thing. Can anyone advise if somone had experienced something like this. Really stressed after the interview
i131 approval destroyed
The i131 approval was sent to my previous address. I’ve contacted ema and opened many requests to get it delivered to my current address, but didn’t have any response. just today, I contacted them again and find out the document was destroyed and I have to file another form. my priority date is may 2021. should I just wait for my green card approval or should I reaply for i131?
Medical sent but no update received
Hi everyone! I had sent my Medical last week and according to fedex website, it shows that medical was received yet theres no update on uscis account. on asking live agent, she notified me that it may take sometime if medical was sent [60 days] but my last date is 25th Jan 2025. Should I wait for the status update or wait a little more for the update?

Approve Expedite Request!!!
morning! I’m trying to get the understanding I applied for vawa full package in July in a month time I got a primafa, the next 4 months after they moved only my i485 to a new office last month dec I requested a expedite request for my i765 they approved it on January 2 from the 2 jan till now only my i765 changing office to office in total 4 notice of transfer I never received a bio but my question is can they approve my work permit without a bio and I file under category c9P isn’t supposed to process with the travel permit has well? can someone explain the process when approved expedite?
