EB-2 NIW Approved Today – March 25, 2025!
I’m thrilled to share that my EB-2 NIW petition was approved today — no RFE, fully self-petitioned!
Highlights:
• Priority Date: November 30, 2023
• Actively Reviewed Notice: December 29, 2023
• Processing Type: Normal processing
• Approval timeline: 480 days from filing
• Service Centers: Filed at Texas, transferred to Nebraska (processed there)
• Case Block: IOE09233
• Country of Chargeability: all other countries (ROW)
Field: Public Health & Clinical Research
Education: Doctorate Degree
Publications at filing: 8 (with 10+ citations).
Interestingly, I was initially turned down by attorneys who felt my case was not strong enough, maybe due to low citations— so I self-petitioned, and here we are. Grateful to God for this milestone!

@Thomas Tran you will be able to see it on lawfully, check your case timeline. Please not that it usually doesn’t apply to everyone as some people move from case received to a decision unlike mine (case received, actively under review, and then a decision)
