it’s a visa refusal which mean that you did not establish eligibility for a visa to the satisfaction of the consular officer. In your case, I think you should already get an immigration lawyer if you don’t have so the lawyer can help with any visa issues.

Izzy Wu is wrong, 221g is not. refusal, it means youre on hold, you either need to send documents to the consulate officer, or it could be there was a sistema failure, on the interview they should have given you an idea of why they give you the 221g, if you didn't then you need to contact a lawyer, but just to be clear, when you are rejected a visa it will say your visa was DENIED not REFUSED, like I said refused means you're on hold... you can still be approved just neet to wait instructions or contact a lawyer. you may also want to call the embassy to see if they can tell you if they need something from you. But if they have your passport is a good thingit means they have the intent of giving you a Visa on your passport, I wish you the best

@Carlos Garcia what’s wrong with what I said? She said clearly that on her visa status it say’s “Refused” not “On Hold”. It’s a clear that it’s a visa refusal.
