i had a travel visa and i went to renew it on January 26, because it expired on February 26, they gave me a 221G and i move to the consulate on February 14, they asked me some very silly questions, if i had children, if i was married, and what part of the states i will stay for my vacations, just that and the consul told me right now i can’t give you a visa get married and start the process, and well I am here, my receipt says that my case is I’m California but i asked for an infopass and they sald it’s in nebraska

RFE getting back with a final decision
hey guys, anyone that has recieved an RFE and responded, how long did it take for uscis to give you the final decision based on your rfe? i am already 21 days waiting. also would like to know how demanding were your RFEs and the officer number that was assigned to you and their final decision. thanks
I-130 Approved! What’s next?
Well, finally after 1 year and a half, the I-130 got approved.
The case status haven’t changed yet, but following some good fellows advice here, upon getting the second active review notification, went online and found the approval notice on the docs tab.
P.S: this was taking forever, my wife submitted an e-request last week, saying that’s beyond notmal processing time (even it’s not 😅 and the earliest we could’ve reach them at per processing time portal was AUG 23).
on Monday got a notification that the request was transferred to the processing officer and yesterday the form got approved!
Now, i know the I-130 get sent to the NVC. what happens there and how long will it take further?
*Im abroad, Not in the US. even tho i have a tourist visa to enter the states.

i 751 approved and otah ceremony
hello !
i have very important trip before my otah ceremony is just 4 days and I have a I751 approved my otah would take place 2 days after I return of my trip . So because I a have a I751 approved ( but no new green card because still waiting for my otah ceremony) can I travel with my extension? has anyone had that experience?

another notice from uscis saying k3 is dismissed on april 13 2023
Also we got approval notice from uscis and it says your case is approved and send it to NVC for further process. but when i check to my case status it still shows actively review.. still it shows actively review..what does it mean? i got approval notice saying its approved and send it to NVC and when i check my case status its shows actively review from april 13 2023.

I had received a Rfe(I-485) in July 2022 which I did sent the requested documents and got a response letter in August that it was received. Received another letter few weeks ago to do medicals which i have done already and mailed but haven't heard from uscis about the medicals shipped 2wks ago. My wife is a citizen, filing for me. Yesterday August 13, 2023, I received another RFE but it didn't mention any documents on it to send except I should send the requested documents with the RFE letter. Don't know if it was a mistake cus the letter mentioned no documents. Please anybody got an idea about this? very strange!! 🤔
Is it normal to wait so many days(65 days) to receive an answer from my rfe(taxes) or can I contact emma or wait longer?😕8 months and I have no response to any request (insurance and work)

little bit confused need help I 130 was filed 9/30/22 status was on actively being reviewed, I 485 was filed 3/30/23.
On 4/1/23 I received rfe for I 130a and I 867 which we responded swiftly for both, for I 867 we added my husband last 6 months pay stub plus 2022 w2 and 2023 tax return. according to my lawyer there was no need for both rfe because my husband who is my sponsor work over 100,000usd for the past 5yrs and I 130a was correctly filled, signed with latest updated version. after our respond
my i 130 status change to rfe received on 4/10/23 and now changes to actively being reviewed again for the second on time 4/11/23 and I 485 change to rfe received but nothing more also i just find out that both of my case was transfer to NBC.
how long normally cases stays at nbc before final decision?
