10 Year Greencard Approved/California Center/December 2021
Wanted to provide an update for anyone who is still waiting for California Center. I just got my approval today and card is in production. I filed jointly with my husband in December 2021 and had a 2 year greencard prior to that.
We filed without a lawyer and didn’t have any interviews either. It was a big folder with looots of photos (100), travel tickets, joint documents, insurance, retirement accounts, house mortgage, affidavit from 2 friends and family.
I also got my 48 month extension letter 3 weeks ago. So don’t fret if you got another extension letter, you might be close on getting approved too.
The long journey is finally over! Thanks for the app, I was able to get a peace of mind and see where I was ranking and it helped a lot.
Good luck to everyone else. #I-751 #california

I485 Interview
hello Everyone,
So today I chatted with a live agent and thisnis the second time I’m told my interview was waived. my PD is 6/6/22. Got EAD back in Dec, I had an update on I130 on March 9th and my case was transfered to FO in San Jose back on 11/29/22. Also when I log in to USCIS my estimated time to complete shows 2 months.
how accuarate are this live agents? and has anyone else had a similar experience?

DQ’d Yesterday!!
#NVC #dq
I was Documentarily Qualified yesterday by NVC and now comes the next wait for an appointment.
Because I started this journey with my husband outside the US we ran into some hiccups in getting documents. They wanted to ensure that I was domiciled in the US and I ended up uploading a current bank statement (which had the address on it) and there was originally a letter from my grandfather who also explained that my home is also where he lives, as we will be staying there upon entering the US.
Just a note for couples who lived outside the US during their marriage, they do not ask for the petitioner originally to prove their domicile but if you haven’t endure you put it from the beginning. Even a simple bank statement with your name and address in the US should be fine and it must be current.
I’m just happy to be at this next step, doing this without professional help is a daunting task and my husband and I are trying to do our best to learn everything possible.
Good luck to everyone else out there!!!!
medical examination
I received an RFE for medical examination for my wife’s I-485. thing is that we submitted one when she was doing the visa process and the confirmed that they included it in the sealed package. why are they now asking for another one? is there a way for me to get a copy from CBP at the port of entry?
Green card through marriage
It was a totally smooth ride during my whole process. Cant believe it finally happened.

difference between field office and NBC?
my case starts with MSC229. Emma said my case is at NBC. however some posts suggest that cases go to local field office and that some FO are slower than the others. so how does this work? is my case going to move to local FO at some point? when should I expect that?.
Utah, two actively review notices
I filed in December 2021 from utah, I had biometrics in January 2022 and my I-485 switched to actively reviewing, which i heard is normal. I had an email in February 2023 for a medical which I sent off to Chicago (which I thought was odd) and as of March 31st the I-130 switched to actively reviewing, this morning I got another notice saying actively reviewing on the I-130. Is this normal?
I really hope it’s not much longer, but I am lucky to have my work and travel card :)
