should I get a receipt notice?
Hi, I applied (cooncurrently) for I-1485, I-313 and I-765, but I’ve only received a receipt notice for the I-1485 and not the other forms, is this normal? It’s been 30 days since filing.

After exacly 18 months I was approved last Saturday. I have not received any notifications that my card has been produced yet. Will I get a message like that or the card will just show up in the mailbox?

N-400 interview at San Francisco
A US citizen now! 🎉
There was a long waiting line in the front of the building. So it took me around 20 mins to wait and get to the waiting area. Plan some time ahead, just in case.
My interview was at 12:45 pm yesterday (but got called in at 1:15 pm because the IO had to take extra time for the previous interview) which lasted for around 30 mins and I got approved for same day oath ceremony at 3 pm. Got the certificate of naturalization by 3 pm.
Documents submitted during online application for N-400 based on 5 year LPR eligibility rule:
1. copy of greencard (mandatory)
2. copy of marriage certificate (mandatory)
3. copy of kids birth certificate (mandatory)
4. tax transcripts of last 5 years (optional)
No additional documents were asked to be submitted during the interview. Originals of interview appointment letter, passport, green-card and driver license was asked to be shown.
Paperworks to be done after getting US citizenship:
1. Apply for US passport (in person appointment at usps)
2. update citizenship in SSN records (can be done by mail, once we get the passport card)
3. register to vote (can be done online)
4. update citizenship in dmv records (has anyone done this?)

IV application reopened in CEAC web
hi all, my husband had a consular interview 1 year ago and his visa was refused for more documents and admin processing. I've been getting in touch since then with no help. today I reviewed the ceac web and his IV app says reopened. What does that mean? I didn't ask to update anything. my lawyer did an inquiry few days ago, does that have something to do with? We provided everything they needed 1 year ago after they requested.
K1 visa process
Now starts the waiting for NVC to send the paperwork to Brazil, I’ll keep everyone posted as we progress…..
just wanted to update those that are still waiting, my case was approved April 18, NVC created the case July 8 and July 20 the American embassy received in Brazil, we were able to book the interview for August 24. I’m so excited 😆
FYI I never received my Welcome letter, I just kept asking questions to NVC until I got my case number and inv#, after that I asked for few updates, my fiancé filled up the DS-160 and we waited for the case say ready. on a different app. Case Tracker.
Document Was Returned To USCIS"?
I came to USA with j1 visa and change of my status to j1 to b2 and then b2 to f1. I have f1 status now and applied green card on Eb3. today I received rfe for i485. they are asking me about all approval notice and change of status document . I realized I haven’t received approval notice for b2. I check with case number on uscis . it shows that the approval notice returned to uscis because it could not delivered. how can I get my approval notice? it was 2 years ago. could you please help me ?

I751/N400
Anyone had same or similar situation I’m trying my best to stop worrying but super nervous.
I751 has been pending since march of 2021
N400 pending since march of 2022
Had my N400 interview on December 8th officer said he will request for my i751 file and I passed the civic exam .On may 14 I checked online and it said my I751 case has being transferred to another field office . I checked today now this“Appeal/Motion Was Dismissed Your appeal/motion was dismissed”.Your case remains denied. On April 18, 2023, we sent you a notice about this action. please contact the appellate authority directly. I’m freaking out crying and scared. I never applied for no appeal/motion just the regular i751 that has been pending. checked my N400 it says We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review.Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled
We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number IOE9314338101, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. Is the i751 status update a mistake? And why my N400 would say in line for Oath ceremony ? Called CIS asked about i751 they said they would have a tier2 contact me and for the N400 they said i751 got a be approved first
