K1 visa process
Now starts the waiting for NVC to send the paperwork to Brazil, I’ll keep everyone posted as we progress…..
just wanted to update those that are still waiting, my case was approved April 18, NVC created the case July 8 and July 20 the American embassy received in Brazil, we were able to book the interview for August 24. I’m so excited 😆
FYI I never received my Welcome letter, I just kept asking questions to NVC until I got my case number and inv#, after that I asked for few updates, my fiancé filled up the DS-160 and we waited for the case say ready. on a different app. Case Tracker.

@Victoria D Douesnard I haven’t got the letter yet, I just checked the app as I do it every day, multiple times a day and noticed the approval. I should receive the letter by Saturday.

@Dan Bee Medina they asked adicional evidence on our relationship, apparently what I sent was not enough, Also financial and if I had gone to see him again since I applied, wedding plans. So I printed our WhatsApp conversation (330pages), sent more pictures with me, him and my family in Brazil. Sent them my taxes from year plus house deed and bank statements to proof I make more than enough to financially support him while he will be waiting for his paper here. Plane tickets that I went to see him 3 times since I applied. Letter from my brother acknowledging our relationship. Letter signed by both to intent to marry and our beach wedding plan. It was a very thick package. And they approved it one week later after receiving the package.
