my CASE: eb2 niw
PD : august/22
case approved: Dec/22 (only i-140)
immigration status: STEM OPT F1
:
i had my i-140 approved in december/22, while i apllied only for i140( not cuncurrent process ) i was saving money to apply for me and my wife the AOS, but now as the new visa bulleting is only for feb/22 im not able to aplly for AOS
question:
if i apllied only i140 and got approval notice , will i need to do via consular the process considering the AOS is not possiblefoe while.
i140 can expire or be revocated if i take no action ?such as aplly the process via consular ?
thank you for all advice #I140 #Eb2niw

I-130 and EAD has been approved but greencard is still pending…
My I-130 has been approved on 04/18/23 and my EAD has been approved today 04/24/23. When my I-130 has been approved I got an RFE for my GC application and sent that right away on 04/19/23. I thought I’d get GC right away but looks like I’m getting the EAD first which means I will have to wait for GC for a bit right?
also another question, I cannot find the i-130 approval notice in my documents tab and it has not arrived yet, but the case is approved and closed on my end, what’s going on?

I-765 and I-131 detached from I-485 on USCIS account
Hi everyone,
Has anyone noticed that their I-765 and I-131 were detached from I-485 on their USCIS account?
I used to have them all together when I log in. Now I see that they are separated and the “concurrent filling” is on I-765 which was only on I-485 previously.
trying to find anything that would give me hope for a close approval of at least EAD looool.
thanks,
Progress
my work permit was approved finally. Was disappointed that it wasn't a combo card but I am grateful that progress is being made.

I485 was submitted to NCS but it was transferred to NBC on 12/10/2022.
I submitted my medical along my application when I applied.
I485 was transferred to #SanJose filed office on 03/29/2023. ( I didn’t get a notification on case status, I knew from Emma online chat). The case took around 3 weeks to get approved after it was transferred to a FO with no interview nor RFE.

Why is I-765 taking so long?
Not been able to work really sucks. Do you guys think having a big gap in employment history is going to make finding a job harder? What should I do while waiting for movements on cases?
