How long I have to wait?
Hi folks, I just have my interview last Thursday, it was good, however I was told by interview officer that she cannot approve my case right now. Then she gave me a white paper, and marked in the first box, which states “your case is being held after interview”. The officer handed me the biometric appointment and to proceed on the spot right after the interview since I haven’t taken the biometric yet. I was so confused and asked her why she cannot approve my application on spot and she said she needs to check my background and further information. Do you know how long biometric checking process?

Hi i recently petitioned for my spouse on April 3 2023..I definitely need much patience and support but in long run it is all worth the wait! I seen my processing time change several times down to 6 months from 14.5 to 13 months then to 7 months and now to 6 months..anyone have same, hopefully it’s a good..

I submitted my I-824 on November 10,2022. My case was located at Potomac service center. After submitting three inquiries, one ombudsman’s req and one congresswoman req, my case was transferred to NBC service center. After two weeks at NBC, my case was transferred to NVC. For everyone waiting never give up on hope. keep fighting for your spouse case. I wish this brings you luck.

Pakistan police clearance certificate
Is police clearance certificate required from Pakistan applicant at NVC stage ?
Because on website they said they don’t require:

But when I fill ds260. They show police clearance certificate (Pakistan) is missing.
Please help if anyone knows.
Cannot Access My USCIS Case Online
Hey all,
I received a notification from USCIS that they took action on my case. I logged into my online account and the cases are not showing anymore. I tried to add the cases back but getting an error message.
Does anyone have any insight as to what might be going on?

It’s been over 2 weeks since the “case was sent to the department of state “ after I-30 approval … Still waiting on the welcome letter, I haven’t received any emails yet! How long does it usually take? anyone is experiencing this as well? please share your experience.

Wait for court or file another i485
Hi guys,
1 filed 1-485 with immigration court while in removal proceedings. Now removal proceedings have been closed and 1-130 is almost approved (hopefully). Do you suggest to wait for court to adjudicate I-485, or should I file a new I-485 with USCIS (this time with all my RFE documents) and then expedite after approval of 1-130?
know my case is a little technical, but I rely on the vast knowledge that this community shares everyday. thanks in advance :)
case sent back to USCIS for review

please has anyone had their case sent back to USCIS after approval from NVC. my spouse and i had a disagreement unfortunately we sent a withdrawal to NVC. we good bow and settled but our case has been sent back to USCIS. .
please what can we do, we've been trying to reach USCIS but it's not connecting.
do we write to them???

combo card issued after transferring my underlying basis! any experience ?
I had requested to transfer my underlying basis from a marriage-based case to an approved NIW. My initial I-485 was terminated and I was issued another I-485 receipt number. after that I received my combo card, but my combo card number starts with IOE, which is for family-based cases, and my new I-485 receipt starts with MSC which is for NIW-based cases. Can I still use my combo card for traveling and re-entry to the U.S? Will the CBP at the airport have access to all this information ?
